I would like prayer about my teaching job. I asked for a transfer to a new school and I pray this is what God wants. I realize that I am not happy at my current job managing people who I feel don't want to be. I pray that the last two months of school are the most peaceful and relaxed of my career. I pray for Gods divine intervention to restore joy. I am frustrated with the position some team members have put me in. I pray for God to fix it all this week and as soon as possible. I pray for some divine intervention. Bless me Lord. Amen!

I've been part of a traveling Ministry team for the last 9 months (I'll be finished mid May). I would like prayer for what will happen afterwards. I have a teaching degree but I'm not sure if a job will become available for myself next year. I would love to have a classroom of my own (I have my heart set on a certain Christian School where I live) but understand that it may not happen... in that case I pray that I get a lot of subbing jobs once I get back home and hopefully also a summer job.

I also sprained my ankle a week ago and it has been giving me trouble. With being away from home and not being able to rest it properly I just want peace of mind that it is healing... it just takes time.

And finally, one of the girls on my team received some bad news from back home. Her nan is in the hospital and things are not looking great. Comfort for my friend, her family, and especially her nan would be great. Luckily, her nan loved the Lord so if God is calling her home she will be in a better place.

Thank you for your recipes and sharing your faith... you ladies are awesome!

Dear Lord, I thank you for this girl that has given her time and energy to a travelling ministry these last nine months.. I pray that good fruit will come out that time both in her and in the lives that she has touched. You see her heart for children and her desire to teach them. You have the perfect spot already prepared for her and I pray that you give her peace and patience to wait for your plan for her to unfold. May she rest and not be anxious. I pray that you would heal her ankle completely.
I ask also for the team member that is concerned about her Nan, I pray for comfort for the family and peace for the Nan and a painless home going for her!
Thank you, Father for hearing our concerns before we ask and thank you that you answer out of the good pleasure of your will and love. In your Son's name we pray, Amen.

Special friends of ours are bravely facing the third round of a fight with cancer. The dad/husband has exhausted medical options in Canada and must travel abroad if there is any chance of beating cancer. They have a young family, are gracious and believe this to be necessary if he is to survive and thrive. Please pray for him and his family. Thank you for your prayers!

Dear Father, it is hard to know sometimes how to pray when we are frustrated and unhappy in our work situation. We know you work all things for good for those that love you and so we trust you in this situation as well. Lord, you know what is best and so we ask that your will would be done here. We know even in difficult circumstances you can restore joy to our souls and I ask that for this person too. I pray for this workplace and for all those that work together here that attitudes would be softened and you would grant wisdom in leading.
In your precious name,
Amen.

Dear Lord, I bring these friends to you this morning. This man has been bravely fighting cancer for sometime now and his will is to live for his family. Father, I pray for this young family who longs to have their father brought back to full healing. Lord we know all things are possible with you and we know that you never leave us nor forsake us. I pray that your presence would be felt where ever they are and that you would comfort them as they are separated during this time of medical intervention. Father, please give the doctors wisdom in knowing how to help this man. Thank you for hearing us when we pray. Thank you Lord that you love us and for sending your son to die on the cross so that we can have eternal life when we believe on his name.
In Jesus name,
Amen.

My son is rebelling and it breaks my heart. He is attracted to worldly & destructive garbage. Life has been stressful around this as we also have 3 younger children. Please pray for him, my family and for me. I am seeking to trust the Lord with my son and I am fighting negative, defeating thoughts filled with anxiety. - Thanks so much.

Judy said...

Dear Father...I'm joining this mom in prayer, as I can identify with her plea on many levels. I ask that you keep her son safe as he makes unwise and rebellious choices. Continue to speak into his life so that he will one day soon choose to follow You rather than his own desires. Give mom peace as she deals with this situation on a daily basis...and help her to put her complete trust in you. In Jesus name, Amen.

I am a single mother of a handicapped son and a daughter that has seizures. I took care of my son when he had his motorcycle accident at home for 5 months while he was in a coma and got behind on my house payments. The bank foreclosed and sold the house, so I'm now renting my house for $1000 a month that I have worked 20 years to pay for. Now they want to sell my house that has been modified for my son and with a foreclosure & bankruptcy (the lawyer said it would stop the foreclosure) on my credit, I can't get a loan for the house. Please pray that something will work out that I don't have to leave my home. I have been praying but haven't seemed to find an answer and they want to sell soon. God bless for your endeavors.

Dear Father, this is one of those situations where 'why?' is such an easy question, yet you have not forgotten this dear Mom who is giving her all to care for her two children. What seems impossible to man is easily solved by a miracle from your willing hand. Please cause this dire situation to work out so that this mother can keep her home. Provide financially for her...bring people into her life that can help. Give her a peace that passes understanding as she trusts in you and as only you can, Lord, please meet every need this mother has. In Jesus loving name I pray .. Amen

I have asked for your prayers before and was amazed at the relief felt as I read your responses.
As I once more sink into a depression I request prayers to help me through the muddle I feel at present. I feel so misunderstood and taken for granted.
TIA.

Dear Lord, you are our refuge in good and in bad times. You know exactly what TIA is going through...and I ask You to bring peace and joy in these troubled days. Provide help through the rough times. Walk before and beside...be her/his guide. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. Amen

I would like to pray about my current job. I have the opportunity to be considered for a new role. I pray that God proves clear direction. I also pray that all members of my team are truly happy and that God blesses us with happiness. I pray that I continue to experience joy. So much that is overflowing. I pray that I am rejuvenated. I also pray to be blessed with a baby. There is a slim chance that it could be this month so I pray God blesses and comforts me. Give me peace beyond understanding in all areas of my life. I also pray for a consistent level approach to all things. Bless me Lord Jesus.

Anneliese said...

Dear Lord, I ask that you would be with this woman at her place of work and that she would make good decisions about any new roles. I pray that the staff will work well together and encourage one another. Help her to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present her requests to You . . . especially you know her desire to have a child. I pray that You will grant her the desire of her heart in due time, and that, while she waits on You, your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen

Ladies,
My husband and I work at the same company and we are unhappy. There is just too much turmoil in the workplace, which then bleeds into our home, even though we try not to take work home. We are stressed and do not sleep well and our interactions with our family always end up bad.Our health, particullarly my husbands is not well and I know this all stems from stress at work.
We have been saving to make a move to another state, but saving is difficult. If we get an opportunity to move, we will need to find jobs within that state.I would like to ask for prayers for both of us, especially for my husband who I love dearly. I also ask for peacefulness, clarity, and the opportunity to make our lives new again, in a new place.

I also would like to ask for prayers for anyone who knows me, that they find peace and comfort in whatever they are going through right now. I especailly would like prayers for Kevin and his brother Craig and thier family. Craig is battaling cancer.

Thank you.
Thank you very much.

Dear Lord, I pray for this couple as they struggle with work related issues. I am thinking that so often when You have a change intended for us, You allow us to become discontented where we are. I ask Father, that You make the steps of Your plan clear to this couple... and that You would give them peace in knowing that they do not have to make Your plan happen.. they just need to keep their eyes on You. Show them how to deal with the stress at their work place and give them opportunity to show Your love to those they work with. You know all the details of their situation and I ask Lord that you work them out in your time and in Your way -- because Your way is always the best! Provide also for them the necessary funds/resources they need to move to the place you have already prepared for them!
I pray also for Craig, I ask for healing for his body and for comfort and strength for him and his family as they go through this difficult time.
Show your love abundantly to this couple and through them to all those they love and know. Thank you for hearing the prayers of your children and answering even before we ask. In Jesus name we come, amen.

Lord I pray for your protection at work tomorrow. You know the hurt and pain I've endured and I ask you to heal me. I know the situation between staff could be rough. I invite you in Lord to chair the meeting. Lead and guide us all. Bless all relationships to heal. Bless me to be calm. Bless the day to be easy. Help me. I praise you for all your blessings. I joyfully wait for your goodness and hope to come upon me like rain. In Jesus' name I pray! Amen!

I have come to your site before for prayer. It helps me know someone is there to help lift up more than my prayers. Sometime I feel like God does not hear me. I ask for your prayers for my family. I am so concerned for my son. He needs help in his troubled life. He is a new father and has a very hard time dealing with everyday life. I am afraid he is on the road to destruction if he can not get a handle on life. I pray to God he will take control of his life but seems he is slipping away. I look at other families enjoying their life together-but why can't we. Please help him.
Thanks

Julie said...

Dear Lord , I ask that you be with this dear one who is feeling lonely and panicked when the inability to swallow accompanies the spasms. You are the great Healer, and I pray that you touch his/her neck/throat and restore it to the perfection with which you created it. And until it is healed, I ask that your keep him/her in your peace...where your love expels all fear. May he/she know that they are never alone because you have said..'I will never leave you or forsake you'. May he/she know you as the Father that you desire to be for each of your children. We ask in your Son's name, Jesus ... Amen

Our Father in heaven, we know how precious families are to you. It is how you designed mankind to live, and you understand the pain fractured relationship bring. You desire/yearn to restore them. I pray for this family that is going through a difficult time. You know the issues involved, you see each member of this family and care about each one. I know that you see this one who is asking for prayer - have you put them where they are because he/she is the one looking to you for answers? I pray that you would have your way in this family and work all things out for your glory and their joyful thanksgiving for your intervention. May you have your way, O Lord, and comfort and strengthen this one who yearns for love to rule in her family! The enemy is a defeated foe - may your will be done, your peace reign in this family! In Jesus victory we pray, Amen

I have a definite prayer request. I have been smoking since grade 5, on and off, over 30 years. Not a lot, not always consistently, but enough at present to make me not get over my last cold. I have three beautiful children who are not really aware of this habit. I want to see them grow up. I'm tired of my secret habit. I have felt in my church community an inability to confess and reach out for help. So please pray. I'm on day 5. Bible study is in my living room as I write. I'm too embarrassed to bring it up for support.

Please pray for my family sister as I feel that my family might separate due to my dad'z infidelity. They are still together but I fear that my mom might not have the strength to forgive him and I'm afraid he continues his affair, and it's destroying my family. There is only so much I can do since I have recently move far far away from home to live with my newly husband. I fear for my sisters rebellions and for the inability to bond with my much more materialistic new sister in laws and mother in law. Thank you so much for your prayers, it relieves my heart a bit.

Julie said...

Oh Father, I pray that you gather this girl close to your heart and comfort her with the assurance her of your love. I pray for healing for her family -- her parents to be able to restore a broken relationship and keep their family together. Give repentance and forgiveness and help her sisters to find peace in their hearts so their rebellion will melt. I pray too that this young wife would be able to bond and even influence her new family. Bless her and her marriage and make it strong!
Oh Lord, I pray that you send the right people into their lives to help heal and restore and give the support they need. May you be glorifed in this family, Lord, I pray ! in Jesus name, amen.

Julie said...

Dear Father, you have heard the confession of this woman, and I know you want to help free her of her habit. But what you really want her to know is the freedom that comes with 'truth' ! It is the enemy that has enslaved her, lied to her that no one will understand - give her the strength to confess to her bible study group and then be free of this habit that she desires to be rid of! Give her the strength and resolve to do that , and let her know you are there to help her ! Amen.

Kathy said...

Loving Heavenly Father, I too join julie in prayer for this family. May you speak your truth and counsel into the heart of the father in this home and may he fully turn his life over to you and walk away from the situation he is in. I pray for the wife/mother and the brokenness of heart she has. May you assure her of your unfailing love and grant her the ability to forgive. Sustain her in her deepest hours of sadness. Renew her hope for restoration.
God I too pray for this newly married young woman who loves her family enough to ask for prayer. Protect her and her siblings in this troublesome time. Be near and keep them under the shadow of your wing.
In Jesus name. Amen

I come to you once again. My heart is so heavy. I have no one to talk to. My son needs so much prayer. He is on the road to destruction. I have prayed but seems my prayers are unheard. I long to have happy days again. To be a family again. I pray someone comes to just talk to us to see how to handle our lives. I have to think God is listening but Oh how I wish our lives could be whole again. It helps to know someone else can pray for my family.
Thanks

Julie said...

Dear Father... may this child of yours know that you are indeed listening and have heard her heart cries. I pray that she will find that assurance that she has lost and know once again that you love her and have not forgotten her. Lord, I pray that you bring people into her life that will give her the support and counsel that she needs..people that will come alongside her to comfort and encourage. I pray for this son that is walking into destruction. I pray that you open his eyes to see what he is doing, open his mind and heart to see your love for him and learn that you have purposed plans of peace and not destruction for his life. Cause him to hate the path he is on, and desire to turn his life around. I thank you, Lord, for this mother's prayers and love for her family. May she see the answers your have already sent her way. Thank you, Father that your will is perfect and your answers come in your perfect time. Help us to hold fast to our faith/trust in you as we wait! in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Mother of five. Struggling with OCD behaviors/patterns/habits for several years ... and it keeps getting worse ... having a terrible time managing the household as it sometimes takes me 10 minutes just to wash my hands. Can't seem to remember if I've done something or not and often do the same chore two or three times. Embarrassed. Afraid to tell anyone. Afraid of how it will effect the kids long term. Need healing. Need to turn from this. Thanks for praying.

Dear Father, when you place a child in a mother's arms you also give her the wisdom she needs to raise that child. Lord, I pray that this mother find the peace that comes from resting in you. May she learn to hear your voice whispering in her ear to give her the direction she needs.
May she also lay down her embarrassment to talk about her struggles and please bring the right people into her life that will understand and support her!
May she KNOW how much you love her and may she 'taste and see' of your loving kindness.
I bring her before you, Lord and know that you have already sent the answers and help she needs! thank you, Father... in Jesus' all-sufficient name we pray.

Our 36 year old daughter & I will be heading to Mayo Clinic in about 2 weeks. She has had health issues all her life, however, they have become debilitating over the last year. She does not yet have a firm diagnosis but has been placed on some very powerful medications which have not yet helped her fevers, fatigue or pain.

She has been married for 14 years and has not been able to carry a baby to term. If she can not carry a child, she would be happy to adopt an older family but at this point her health is blocking this option, as well. Please pray that they find some answers or direction for their lives. Our family has a lot of love to share, we just need some direction and assistance. Thank you.

Now, going back to my permanent job, I've learned that my biggest project -- a new partnership I started, and which is where I wanted to focus my career -- has been handed to someone else, who doesn't even want it, with no discussion at all. I have been conscientious, hard-working, conscious of building a good reputation, and have tried all times to do more than what was expected of me, to innovate and stay cheerful and focused even when I consistently feel like the only one who is trying. To be completely passed over and discriminated against...I just feel I'm losing hope. I always promised myself I would never 'phone it in,' that I would always be honest and work hard, and do work I believe in passionately. I thought I was being recognized and rewarded, and the past three weeks have been so hard on me, I feel like a total failure, and like having a baby is a mistake. Most of all, I feel like the past year was a giant waste of time, and so disheartened to find that what I thought was a shrewd and focussed career move amounted to nothing at all, and if anything, detracted from what I will be able to achieve in my permanent role. I came to my current job after having spent four years in a toxic organization which exploited and abused people -- since leaving that place, I've had discussions with their CEO and even the Children's Aid about what I witnessed. It was traumatic. But I thought I was turning a corner and moving on...and now I just feel like maybe this is what my life is going to be like: that there IS no purpose in behaving ethically or holding myself to a high standard, and that there isn't a good plan for me after all. I know I will feel differently eventually, but I just don't know what to do. I really would appreciate some prayer. Thank you so much for putting this page here.

Father, I pray for this woman who is feeling discouraged and walked on. I pray that you would cause her to see her situation not from her own perspective but from yours. May she be reminded that you are the one to whom she is responsible and it is you who will reward her for a job well done. I pray that you give her opportunity to live/act/react in such a way that is pleasing to you, even when it is contrary a human reaction. I pray too that you cause her to find favour in the eyes of those she works for and with. Fill her heart with your love and guide her by your Spirit , show her that no one who trusts in you is a failure! I thank you also for the gift of life you have entrusted to her - a child to love and nurture. A child that is the most important blessing in her life. May Jeremiah 29:11-13 comfort her heart with your promise for her ! In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, I bring this hurting woman to your side and ask that You put Your loving arms around her. Let her see clearly, that You have the best plan for her. Let her rest in You and know that things are not always as they appear. I pray that she will be rewarded for her diligence and hard work by knowing it is always the best thing to do and that You will bring about good for her as she trusts in You. I pray that you will help her as she prepares for this child to be born, and that becoming a mother will be a beautiful reward in itself, a gift to cherish and an opportunity to influence a life in a way no one else may be able to. I pray that she will be able to commit her aspirations to Your timing in her life and that You will supply her physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Bless her as she allows You to unfold the path before her. Amen.

Awhile ago I asked for you to join me in prayer for Molly Campbell, the little 2 1/2 year old child from Victoria who was fighting a rare form of leukemia. Her family had relocated to Memphis so she could receive treatment not available in B.C. Sadly Miss Molly passed away this morning. I ask you to pray for her family, to help them through this to give them strength. God has a plan and his plan included Molly. I do not know this family and yet I feel for them. I pray that our heavenly father will take this child into his arms and grant the family peace. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Lord, we hold this family in our love and prayers and ask for you to pour your comfort over them. You understand the pain of loss they are dealing with. Help them to hide in you , to trust you and to rest in knowing that you will carry them through this time of sorrow and grief. Thank you for your loving care, in Jesus name, Amen
