Thank you for your prayers for all of these people who I'm assuming are mostly strangers to you. I wonder if you might pray for my husband, who's been looking for work for over four years now. He's a stay-at-home dad and it's hard for him to even find time to apply for jobs. He does so much for our family, but I know he wants to be the one earning an income so I can stay home with our three little ones. Thank you and bless you. -susan

Father, I thank you that there are no 'strangers' in your family - even if we have not met in person we feel the connection to each one that reaches out to us on this blog. I thank you for Susan, and for her family. Thank you for her husband who has given a special gift to his family these past years - a gift that will keep on giving throughout his children's lives. But you know how important it is to a man to feel that he is the breadwinner for his family and I pray, Lord that you would reward this father/husband by bringing a 'dream' job his way that will be beyond what he could wish for. Turn things around so that Susan can be the keeper of the home - and care for their little ones, while her husband is able to provide generously for his family's needs. Open the windows of heaven and rain blessings upon this family this Christmas season and may the coming new year be a year they will always remember and give all glory to you! In Jesus' name, I pray , Amen !

Would you please join me in praying for the results of an ultrasound I had on my thyroid? Something showed up "incompletely" on a CT scan I had during a recent ER visit. (That was for a racing heart...another story.) I'm asking God that nothing will be seen. Also, I've been waiting four days to hear results and I'm a wreck.

Julie said...

Dear Father, I pray for Judy that you would calm fears fears with your love. May she know that you have already gone before ... and ordered all things well I ask that the ultrasound will reveal that all is well, and there is no need for concern. Enfold Judy in the security of your arms and may she know how safe she is. Bless her, even as she waits for the results and may her anxiety melt in your peace. Grant her health and strength in her body and may this Christmas season be one of gratitude and joy! in Jesus' name, amen.

Thanks for praying. I did hear from the doctor today. I have a nodule on my thyroid that she says needs to be removed. Not what I was praying for. I also need to have a procedure on my heart to correct an electrical problem. Seems like too much and I am very overwhelmed and scared.

I wonder if perhaps you could pray for my family's finances. Things are looking bleak for us right now. My husband's income barely covers the bills and debt payments (and some months it does not), and anything extra (like repairs to our old, run-down house) we have to take out more debt to pay for. We are always going backwards, and again we went more into debt in order to give our children Christmas presents. I know this system is not sustainable but my husband doesn't want the children to do without things, and for my part I want us to eat properly. Please pray that God would ease the strain on our finances so that we can live and eat without taking more debt, and provide us a way to begin paying off our debts in the new year. I am afraid if things don't improve soon we may lose our house because we are just drowning in debt. Especially, please pray that my husband will have success at work - he is long overdue for a raise. Thank you.

O Father, it is the season that rejoices in the reason we have to celebrate - your coming to earth as our Savior- but it is also a season that is extra difficult for those who struggle financially. You heard the cries from this dear wife who is trying to juggle the 'much' with the 'little'. Lord, I pray for an abundance to come from your hand to ease their worries and allow them to meet their commitments and have enough left over to provide the things they desire for their happiness of their family. Give the husband favor at work that he would be recognized and rewarded ... May the coming year be a blessing year for them, a turning around where they can once again find their feet under them and their hearts full of thanksgiving to you their Provider. In Jesus' name, I pray , amen.

Julie said...

Lord, sometimes we feel you did not hear our prayers - but your ear and your heart are always open to us. I pray for your peace that passes understanding to fill Judy's heart that she will not have another anxious moment. May the removal of the thyroid nodule be as 'easy' as mine was a couple of years ago, and may she find her heart as full of thankfulness as mine was with the whole experience. I pray too for Judy's heart condition and pray, Lord that you heal it - either through the procedure or miraculous so the procedure is not even needed. May the joy and peace of this Christmas season be Judy's gift and may she awaken each morning - not with trepidation- but with the awareness of your very real presence around her. May this time be one of Judy growing in her experience of your love and her trust in you and faith in your tender care over her. In Jesus' name, amen

I to want to make my life count for Jesus to continue to touch lives for Him. Please pray that I use time wisely so that I can be be used by the Lord. I have a problem with procrastination. Thanks

Dear Lord, thank you for Sheila and her desire to serve you in her new season of life. I'm thankful that in your kingdom there is no barren season but you have meaningful work for your followers until the day you call us home. I pray that you would open doors of opportunity for Sheila and give her the wisdom to recognize the doors that are from you. Help her to prioritize her time and focus on what is meaningful to her and her family, friends and those you bring across her path and not stress about the things that don't matter. Fill her heart with the joy of serving you, in big or little things, and may she be thankful and eager to embrace this time of her life, looking to you with trusting expectancy. In Jesus' name , amen

In August, you prayed for my sister-in-law Diane in Virginia who was critical with an auto immune disease which was destroying her lungs and kidneys. We are thankful that with medication, rehab and many prayers she has improved enough to be at home, but her kidneys are still not functioning. She is still on dialysis three times a week. Please pray that her kidney function will return to normal so she won't need a kidney transplant. Her faith is strong and she looks for the Lord to be glorified in her trial.

Julie said...

Dear Lord, Thank you for Diane being improved enough to come home;we give you all the praise! Sometimes you heal in stages, and I pray that you would cause Diane's kidneys to heal and begin functioning again. I pray that your holy hand upon her would grant her a miracle and spare her from needing a kidney transplant. If she must have a transplant then I ask that the process itself would be miraculous - from finding a donor to the surgery being beyond successful. We know you are our healer and you watch over your children with love and tender care. May Diane be intensely aware of your presence in and around her and may she walk in your peace. May her trust in you remain unshaken and be rewarded. In Jesus' precious name, amen

I would like to request prayer support. We have family members who we believe are not saved and some that are living adulterous lifestyles and some who are saved but have a warped sense of Christianity. Please pray for them to find the Lord. Also please pray for my husband and myself. We need support to overcome anger issues and help in being better parents to our three children, one of them who is considered special needs. They are all stubborn, headstrong children. Our youngest is only 2 and she can get violent when upset. We get discouraged at times, but we don't want to give up. We found a wonderful little church family and they have helped us tremendously. Thank you and God bless!

Julie said...

Lord, I bring this family and extended family to you and pray first of all for their spiritual needs.I pray that you would work in the hearts of these family members that they would be convicted and drawn into a deeper walk with you. I pray that they would desire to put off those things that are hurtful to them and not pleasing to you in their actions, attitudes or lifestyle.
I pray also for these parents of three children who are presenting challenges. I pray for wisdom, for patience, for a firm but loving hand in dealing with them. You know how hard parenting can be but you are so willing to ensure that parents have all the help they need. Thank you for the church group you have put them in and may they continue to be strengthened and helped by their church family. You know and understand the needs of this family and I pray that you provide for them, blessing their home with peace. May they not become discouraged but trust in you to guide and direct them. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Anneliese said...

Dear Heavenly Father, I read and agree with Julie here in prayer and want to thank You for these parents who are willing to admit their need. I pray that You would help them to overcome any anger in their lives and model that to their children. I pray for their children who are strong willed, that You would use that in their lives for good things. These parents have been entrusted by You to bring them up in the right way and they need You. We all do. I pray for Your blessing of peace and continued fellowship with believers who will encourage them. Amen

We pray also for her peace and clarity of mind that she understands what has happened and what she needs to do to co-operation with the healing process. Give her understanding and gentle care givers. May this not be a stressful time for her but one that she is cared through. Bless her family and provide for them what is needed to help care for their mother. Wow, I love that you have an online outlet for prayer requests. This is amazing and humbling to read through the requests and your subsequent prayers. Thank you for opening an alternative avenue for people to ask for prayers!

I come asking for a humble heart during the process of trying to begin a family. My husband and I decided last April to begin trying to get pregnant and I find with each passing month my heart breaks more and more. I felt like we entered into this situation prayerfully, but I don't think I fully understood how much it hurts when I find that I'm not pregnant. I am also asking for prayers for my husband as he helps me navigate my feelings, as well as dealing with his own pain. We truly trust in Him in this situation more than we have in anything before, but we're also finding it more difficult with each month to not get discouraged. I ask that for prayers that our trust in Him deepens, but also that our marriage is strengthened. I ask for peace for my husband and I as we're on this journey. I ask for healing in my heart and that I learn to lean on Him when I feel like I can't handle the hurt. I ask that, no matter what God's answer is to this situation, that my husband and I use it for His glory and not our own.

Again, thank you for this wonderful outlet for prayer! What a blessing.

Julie said...

Dear Father .. the desire to have a family is a desire that you plant in the heart of a woman.. and no desire is as deep or as painful when it is unfulfilled. But, O Lord, I pray for this sweet girl that you would reassure her that she can trust that you who gave the desire will also fulfill it - in your way, in your time, in your wisdom ! I pray for peace in her heart, that her womb may be prepared to be a safe, stress free place to nurture a precious baby. May she not be discouraged but know that her faith in you will never be for naught. As difficult as this time of waiting and trusting is, may it be a time of preparation as well -- a time where the marriage is strengthened , where their home is warmed by your blessed Presence, when the trust of these parents-to-be becomes unshakable -believing that you hold in your hand their miracle. Bless this couple, O Lord, and may your perfect plan delight them with joy ! in Jesus' name, amen.

I ask for prayer for my grandchildren, Sarah, 21 yrs old, Cole, 19 yrs old and Dalton, 19 years old, They all three dropped out of school at 17 yrs of age. I don't understand why this happened. Sarah is a single parent with two toddlers and doesn't work. My daughter, a single parent herself who never received support from the father of her children, now has to raise two grandchildren whom she dearly loves but this is such a financial burden on her. I know that just because my grandchildren have made these choices in their lives. . .it's not the end for them. I just don't know how to pray. Cole and Dalton can't seem to keep their jobs. They all need motivation, direction and above all God's leading in in their lives. Thanks in advance for prayers!

Julie said...

Father, you know there is no heart like the heart of a grandmother for her grandchildren - and no heart of love like you have, a love that excludes no one! I pray for Mireille - O Lord, give her an understanding and wisdom for each of her grandchildren - of knowing when to speak, when to act, and when to bring it all to you and trust you to do what she cannot. My heart goes out to Sarah, who at 21 has already taken a heavy responsibility for two children who so desperately need so much and whose mother's burden has jut been added to. Cole and Dalton cannot get their feet on solid ground, not able to find that motivation and direction that matures us and shapes our life in solid ways. Only you, O Lord can work in this family and weave the brokenness into something beautiful. Bring what is needed ... be it circumstance or people ...to help restore what is lost and build with what they have. Most of all, make yourself real to them, may they open their hearts and lives to you and find that in everything you are enough. May they see and know and experience your love, and may that be what motivates them to live their lives for you, following the path you lay before them, fulfilling the best you desire to give them. In Jesus' name I ask , amen

Julie said...

Father, I thank you that it matters not if we come 70 times 7 to your throne - your welcome is always extended to us. How can we do less but stand with those who come! I pray for Patty who is concerned for her husband's health, fear stirring in her heart. O Lord, fill her heart with peace that she knows she does not walk this journey alone. May she be so aware of your hand on her shoulder, your loving eyes full of understanding. I pray for recovery from her husband's surgery and for complete healing. When the tests come back may they be cause for thanksgiving. Bless this couple that they may walk hand-in-hand through many years to come. In Jesus' name, amen

Please pray for my nephew. He is bound up in gaming and shuts himself up in his room for hours on end on his computer and iphone. He hardly comes out of his room except to eat or work part-time. He was raised in church but the enemy has him snared by this. I don't even know what those games are. Please pray for The Lord's intervention. Thank you so much and God bless!

Dear Father, I pray for this couple in the process of selling their business, something they have put much of themselves into. Selling it involves so many emotions, so many details - some that could so easily slip under the table. I agree with them, Lord, that this sale will be according to your good will, with the transactions completed smoothly with no loose ends or snags. I pray too that even in this their trust in you is strengthened and that no anxiety will distract from their faith that you hold it all in your hands. Bless this couple...and guide them in whatever you have planned for them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Julie said...

Father we pray for this young man who is addicted to gaming... We know how well the enemy sets the trap. I ask that you intervene. I ask that the power of the enemy in this be broken, and that he will be free to make good choices. I pray that the games become boring, that other things come into his life to distract him in healthy ways, that good friends, even former Christian friends would seek him out - put it on their hearts to do so. Thank you for this aunt who loving stands in prayer for her nephew. And thank you for the power we have in prayer - simply allowing you to work where we know not what to do. Claim this boy for yourself, Lord , and for the glory of your kingdom. In Jesus' name , amen.

But along the way may both Patty and her dear husband know in a way they have never experienced before how deep and sure and secure your love is and that nothing can separate them from your love and the good you desire for them. May they walk in supernatural peace and may you carry them when they cannot walk. Cover them with your care ... and may you be glorified, O Lord, we pray .. in your forever name, amen.

Please pray for direction and for my house to sell. It's not selling and I'm feeling trapped and frustrated because my husband has moved out to another house that will be better for him in the long run in a few years but not for me as much......and I'm living here holding the " fort down" but even after this house sells and it is taking a long time .......I'm supposed to find a new home in a different state and figure out a new chapter in my life. I don't know what to do for direction and seems like the Lord has me in a holding pattern for the better part of a couple years. It's complicated and I just feel like giving up. I have nothing to plan for or work towards. I could make radical decisions but then how do I know if they are right? I need some direction or something that I know to go in a way or not . But just living non committed to anything and waiting forever is taking its toll and it's not working. I'm all alone lonely and feel like out of ideas and answers.
Thank you for you prayers

Dear Lord, I pray for this woman who is struggling to find purpose and direction in her life. Discouragement and loneliness and hurt are defining the walls that threaten to close her in. May she know that in you she is safe and in you can find fulfillment and purpose. Lead her to the place where your joy fills a thankful heart. In Jesus' name, amen.

I've never asked for anything like this before and I ended up here quite by chance. I would like to ask anyone who believes in prayer to say/think something kind for my friend Bob. He was hit by a drunk driver 2 weeks ago and has been in the hospital fighting for his life. Things aren't looking so good for him right now. He's a good man, quick with a smile not at all deserving of this current situation. Thank you for your thoughts. Be well everyone.

Julie said...

God above all, who sees all and knows all - I know that you have seen this one who dares to ask help from you. May these friends know that your love for them is beyond finding out and your kindness extends to all those who seek it. I pray for Bob who is fighting for his life - I ask, Lord, that you spare his life, restore him miraculously to full health that there be no doubt but that the miracle came by your hand .. Bless this one who seeks your help for his friend .. may they both experience your power and reality in their lives. It was not by accident that this one 'happened' upon this place and so gladly we bring his request before you, in faith that not only do you hear, but you will also grant our petition ... for which we thank you , in Jesus' precious, healing, saving name... amen.

I could use prayer for my health. I know it sometimes seems surfacey to pray for health issues. But I feel overwhelmed right now. I am recovering from thyroid surgery and am facing a heart procedure. Life feels so out of whack. The biopsy before the thyroid surgery came back benign, but haven't heard about the pathology report from the surgery. The 3% chance it could be different is nagging at me. Don't really know what to ask you to pray for. I just need support.

Julie said...

Father, I thank you that no concern is too big nor too small to bring to you. You are ever ready and able to answer every request we have and you understand the anxiety and fear that so quickly snatches our sense of well-being. I pray for Judy, remembering my own thyroid surgery a couple of years ago and how your care so completely met my every need - please do the same for Judy. I pray that the thyroid biopsy will show only a benign growth and that her heart procedure will go smoothly without any complications, accomplishing what it is meant to do. Bless Judy with an overwhelming sense of peace, enveloping her in your ever present love. May all nagging doubts leave her - and may she walk through the days ahead with a heart of thanksgiving, giving you all the praise and glory ... in Jesus' name, amen.

Judy said...

Wanna hear something crazy? In December I had the racing heart episode that sent me to the ER that led to a CT Scan that showed something on my thyroid that made me have an utlrasound that showed nodules on my thyroid that led to a biopsy that came back negative. Surgery was last week to remove the half of my thyroid that had the nodules. Today I learned the results of the pathology test done on what the surgeon removed. Large nodule was totally benign. There was a smaller nodule that ended up showing a very small microscopic bit of thyroid cancer. It was contained and the surgeon got it all. No follow up on that at all. Now, this nodule on my thyroid could not be felt through my neck which, I believe, is one of the ways something is discovered. I wholeheartedly believe that God performed a miracle! He made the heart thing happen that would send me to the ER that would "accidently" discover the nodule so the cancer did not have time to grow and grow before we knew anything about it. Talk about answers to impossible prayers!!!! I am seriusly trying to wrap my mind around all of this. God did all that for ME?? Whoa. He must think more of me than I give Him credit for.
Thank you for your prayers. Very inadequate words, but fully meant. Praise God on my behalf!

Julie said...

WOW !!! How wonderful is our God! and yes.. He does love you more than you could think. I'm praising Him for you and His miracle gifted to you. Thank you so much for sharing your praise-worthy experience with us so we can all rejoice together! May the Lord's blessings be multiplied to you!

Please pray for my family. My parents are elderly and handicapped and we children are working with our own families and concerns and trying to help to take care of them.

Julie said...

Father, you know how difficult it can be to be in the 'middle' generation - where we have our own families who need us, and also our parents. That role reversal is not easy, but we can trust you to help us find a way to meet the needs of the people who depend on us. I pray for this friend asking us to support this family in prayer as they deal with heavy burdens. Grant them the patience, the wisdom, the time and resources needed for even this season in their lives. May it be a blessing and not a burden. Uphold them with your strength, O Lord, we ask in Jesus' name, amen.

I am asking for your prayers for my father, whom is hospitalize for not eating at all; and diagnosed was urine infection; dehydrated; and several illnesses from Parkinson's disease. He was at a nursing home for six years. The doctor said he is very fragile, and couldn't open his eyes or speechless.
Pray for our father. We lost our beloved mom in June 30, 2016. We (siblings) are going through a lot now. Pray for us please.

Lord, I pray for this grieving family, facing the changes and loss that comes with losing parents. I pray for your comforting peace and care over them. I pray for their father who is so ill... I pray that you release him from his suffering, and take him home. If possible, I ask you might grant the children opportunity to communicate last words with their father - those can be so meaningful and important. Bring loving people around this family to provide the care and comfort they need .. in Jesus' name, amen.

To all Sisters in Christ: We lost our mother, Hazel, June 30th, had a massive stroke; she lived her life to the fullest, was our backbone learned a lot of mom, she read her Bible, sing to the Lord, prayed for us daily/night. Oh how we missed mom so much. All of us are still in deep grieving. Thank you for all that you did in praying for her. Mom will be in our hearts forever till we meet her again.

I have come to you many times in the past 9 months asking for prayers for my husband. I wanted you to know he is through with his chemo treatments and all his scans show NO cancer. I credit God and all the people that prayed for him - I also thank his Doctor. Thank you so much.

Father, I pray for Lena and her dear grandchildren who are in her care. I ask that you provide a home for them, along with everything else they have need of. May Lena find favor with the housing department that they will be moved to approve housing for her, recognizing her acute need. You are the father of the homeless and the orphans - be Father to this little family and may they see your bountiful hand of provision in their lives. In Jesus' name, amen

Lord, you have put us in families, not only because we need each other but because the love for our family members moves us to desire that they all come to know and believe in you. I pray for this wedding couple that their marriage will be built on a godly foundation, love for each other and you in their midst. I pray for the extended family that they too will have their hearts stirred to seek you and to respond to one another in loving kindness. Use this wedding as a time for the family to draw closer to each other, and to you. Thank you for your salvation and that you desire everyone to come to saving faith in you! Bless this family with joy ... in Jesus' name, amen.
