Oh Father, I pray for this child who has to learn to live with a medical condition. I thank you for the wisdom you have given medical scientists to know how to make life easier for those who have Diabetes 1. I pray, Lord, that you would encourage and comfort this child. May she know that you will walk this path with her and will help her and teach her to be strong in you. May the challenges she faces not be overwhelming but ones that she can overcome and be stronger and wiser for them. May she know that even this you will work for good in her life and that it will in no way diminish or take away from the wonderful plan you have for her life. May she walk in your love and know that she is hidden under your wings, where she is safe from all fear. In Jesus' loving name, I pray, amen

I enjoy your blog very much--thank you for the wonderful recipes. Today I would like to ask if you could say a prayer for my daughter who is at university and struggling with anxiety and self-esteem. It's difficult for me, too, since she's so far away. Please pray for healing and that she can find God and peace within her mind. She's a beautiful and capable young woman but she has difficulty seeing that in herself.
Lord, I pray for this daughter who is attending university and I know that most universities are not governed by your Spirit but by the wisdom and spirit of this world. I pray, O Lord, that you would place a hedge around this young woman and protect her from the lies and deception of the enemy. I pray that her eyes would be opened to see herself as you see her, that she would recognize that her worth is in you , that she is wonderfully made and fashioned to be exactly what she needs to be to fulfil your purposes for her life. Thank you for your beautiful prayers in the past. I again humbly ask for prayers of healing for my husband as his chemo for Lymphoma has not worked and he will have to begin a new and different course. Oh Lord, I bring this family before you who are in the 'valley of the shadow of death'. It is so hard to 'feel' your presence when we go through those difficult times in our lives. Yet, we know you are faithful and you are there. I pray for Pamela's husband that you would give him a peace as he faces his serious challenge of medical treatments. I ask that the new one will be effective and that you will bring him through to health again. I pray for the health concerns of Pamela and her daughter. I'd like to ask for prayer for my husband and me. He has been trying to find another job to get us out of this community that is toxic for us. He has had several opportunities this year and been turned down for each one. Right now we are waiting to hear about his latest interview session. The anxiety of waiting is getting to us. We'd love to move to this new location, but fully want God's will. God has been putting us through some tough stuff and while we are wanting to be obedient, we are growing very weary. -JS

Thank you for this prayer. Guess what? My husband received word today that he got the job! He brought home three dozen roses to give to me to celebrate. :) We are excited for this move and slightly terrified. We are moving halfway across the country and away from our grown kids (and a soon to be born granddaughter) to a community where we know no one at all. But this is obviously where God wants us for some reason, so we go. JS

My daughter's child is being raised by a father who is controlling and hateful. He took my daughter's child from her and went to a lawyer to gain custody several months ago. My daughter will be going to court in November and we hope she can at least receive more than two weekends a month with her precious child. We have all prayed about this and have given our daughter and granddaughter a home, but now, only God and Jesus can see us through to win over this despicable man.
O Father, how quickly our hearts melt into yours when the well being of a child is at risk. Your eyes are on this girl and you alone can work the details into place that will bring her back into a safe,loving home where she will be taught of you. I pray that you would work in her father's heart, that he would be convicted of his sin and recognize that he will answer to you for his actions. I would pray for his salvation, that he would have a life changing experience with you and his heart and life would be changed. And Lord, I ask that the enemy have no part in the manipulating of this child or bringing harm into her life. Protect her with your loving care and restore her to her mother's care. May the enemy's plans all be brought to naught and only your plans be brought to fruition. Comfort this mother and grandmother as they anxiously yearn for the return of their daughter/granddaughter. Oh Father, how well you understand our natural reactions to things that happen that are unfair or contrary to our plans. I pray for this woman who so feels that she has been treated unfairly, and so she probably has! But what she is missing is that your plans for us are always superior and higher and better than the plans we have for ourselves. Man may close a door but it is what you need to open the door of a better opportunity or to open the window that leads us directly into your well-thought out plan and purpose for our life. I pray that you would melt this dear one's anger and open her eyes to see and feel with excitement the plans you have waiting for her. I pray that in finishing her time in her job that she will have an attitude that will leave behind the fragrance of your grace and love. Fill her with your peace.. may she know and believe that man cannot take away from her what you have planned for her good! O Lord, may she patiently wait in faith to see what surprises you have for her and may she look back on this job loss as a good and necessary thing. Our daughter has just been diagnosed as celiac. She bawled when we told her no more of her favorite Oma treats - but she was greatly relieved when I showed her the Rollkuchen and peppernuts recipes. Oh Father, the pain and suffering of broken families is so deep. I pray for Brian that he would find rest in you - that he would find that place of trust that puts His focus on you. I pray that he could be reconciled with his children. I pray for Yvonne that she would not stand in her children's way to see their father. Give Brian wisdom to know how to seek reconciliation with Yvonne that she would be willing to work with him and not against him. May the children not continue to pay the price of divided parents. O Lord, I don't know how to pray for this situation but you already know what is right and good and I pray that you work it out according to your will and purpose. I pray too for Brian's financial problems that you would resolve those - help him to make good decisions. I pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen
Father, I pray for Lawrence who has been struggling with severe pain in his knee and now the medications have added to his problems. I pray that you bring healing to his knee, either through surgery or therapy or miraculous restoration. I pray too that he would be able to come off the drugs without withdrawal symptoms and that his body would be free from needing/wanting the drugs. In Jesus name I pray, amen

Lord, I pray for this one desiring more money, promotion and a good paying job. You have promised to provide for our needs, to bless us beyond what we could think to ask. Yet often your blessings come when we are faithful with what you have given and faithful where we are. So I pray that you would inspire this one to work as unto you where they are, and to trust you to provide for them what is needed at the right time. O Lord, there are so many breakdowns in our frail bodies and the pain and suffering that comes as a result is to hard to bear and so difficult for family members to stand by and watch. I pray for Edward, I pray that you would help him with the things he needs to do - my uncle is in the same situation, it is so hard. I ask that you help him to eat, to simply be able to swallow his food to nourish his body. Minimize the damage the parkinson disease has done. I pray, Lord that he would be strong in you and find his peace, comfort and rest in your arms. Father, I pray for Melissa who is working two jobs to meet her financial obligations. You know the gifts you have given her, and the place where those gifts will be best realized. To teach children is such an important ministry and a worthy calling. I pray that you open the doors for Melissa to find the position that will best use her gift and training. I pray that you give her strength and patience as she waits for your 'best'. May she trust that you are not withholding it from her but simply waiting for all the pieces to fall into place. Thank you for your prayers for my husband, Lawrence, on November 8, 2014, he fell on his knee on a hard cement, missed his steps, and landed hard on the cement after getting off the street bus coming back from work, took him to the hospital, had x-ray done thank goodness no broken bones or no cuts just major stratches and he has sores from it. He is in pain. God does answers prayers, and i thanked the Lord he didn't have any major hurt. My daughter and I prayed on our way to pick him up off the road; sure enough he didn't hurt too bad, and please pray for a speed recovery and pray for miracle healing. Pray its all in God's will.
Hello MGCC. Thank you for sharing your recipes and sharing your faith. I ask for prayer for my youngest daughter. She struggled through school but she graduated! We are so proud of her. Now she has a full time job but she is required to take a 40 hour course if she wants to continue to work there. She took the course and passed but not with the required percentage to receive the certificate. She has to take another one if she wants to stay there. She struggled so through that course and we prayed so hard that everything would work out and we don't understand why this happened. She is not a book learner, she is a hands on, practical learner. She is good at her job and since we live in a rural area, there are not a lot of other job opportunities. Please pray with us that God would show her what to do and that He would give her hope, determination, joy and peace with whatever His answer is.
Lord, I thank you that you protected Lawrence from serious harm as he fell on the hard cement. I pray that you would ease the pain he feels, that his recovery would be quick and complete. May his knee heal so that it is as good as new and will no longer be painful or cause him to stumble. Bless him , Father, in every area of his life, and may he continue to be a blessing to those whom he loves and who love him! O Lord, you have gifted and equipped each one of us for the purposes you designed us for. You have also fashioned this girl to fit perfectly into your personal plan for her. I pray that even in this situation that appears as though more is required of her than she can easily do that you would supernaturally give her what she needs. I know if this is the job you desire her to have then the company rules/requirements will not be able to take it away. You will enable her in YOUR strength to fulfil all that is needed. And may she know that you will only close the door in this job if you have a better one waiting for her. Give her a confidence in knowing that you have her steps laid out for her and that you have gone before her. You can and will guide her on a perfect path... thank you , Lord that your plans for her are all wonderful and beyond what she would think or imagine. I keep getting into arguments about faith with one of my atheist friends. She thinks believing in God - any God - makes the believer intellectually inferior, which makes it very, very difficult to debate any matters of faith, especially because sometimes, she comes out on the attack. It's not straining our friendship, but it is something that we keep coming back to. Help??
Lord, I smile sometimes as I'm sure you do to see how eager many atheists are to speak of You. If they do not believe you are real, why is it that you are so often in their thoughts and in their conversation. I pray for this one as she interacts with her atheist friend. I pray that you so fill her with your Presence and your grace and love that all arguments thrown against her will be answered with your insight and wisdom. I pray that you continue to convict this one that thinks she does not believe in you, draw her to yourself and I pray even as you have placed one of your children in her life that she would see your image in her and that her life would speak louder than her words. Make the friend thirsty and hungry for what she sees in your child. I pray that your child would not be discouraged but just continue to love the one you have placed in her life - for a purpose! Please pray for my granddaughter who is due be born March 8, 2015. An ultrasound showed a spot on her heart which can be an indicator of Downs Syndrome. The blood tests have not indicated anything, but it is still a concern. Please pray that the next ultrasound does not show anything on her sweet little heart. I asked my daughter how she dealt with the news and she said, "If Baby Girl has Downs then she will be sweet and cuddly and lovable and if she does not have Downs then she will be sweet and cuddly and lovable." I am humbled by her attitude. God's will be done, but we ask for a healthy baby.
Hello again Julie. My daughter has decided to try another course which starts on December 1 and is 4 months long... It is still my prayer that God would intervene with a miracle before the 1st. I confess that it is hard to have faith in that though. It is my prayer that if she does this course, she would attack it with confidence and determination, which can only come from God, because right now she has zero confidence. She cried and said that she wished she was smart, then this wouldn't have happened. My heart breaks for her and all I can do is pray and trust that it will make a difference this time. I am afraid that she is feeling like a victim instead of a victor and be turned away from God. May what Satan intended to harm be made good by the grace of our Lord Jesus. Please pray for my husband and I. I am in despair. My husband has told me that he is not sure he wants to be married to me, or to anyone, but he does love me as person. He is only staying in our marriage for our children. I truly believe that he has pulled away from me because of depression (my diagnosis, not a doctor's). I am so lost, so sad and so unsure what to do and how to get him to seek help. I put on a brave face for my children but I am struggling so much. It is all I can do to keep from crying all day.. There is no one I feel I can turn to for support. I pray continually for guidance and strength. I think that I am really looking for a miracle. I love my husband very much and I want him to be well. Oh Father, every parent desires a healthy pregnancy and a healthy child. But it is your desire as well.. this child is wonderfully fashioned and knit together and you have already planned the days of her life. Thank you for this dear mother who is so ready to love her baby unconditionally. I pray that you would cause the next ultrasound to show nothing that gives cause for concern - may no spots be found. May this precious baby girl thrive under your wings of healing and love and bring nothing but joy and blessing to the family waiting to hold her. in Jesus' name, I pray.
Father, you know this mother and understand the pain she feels for her daughter - how gladly she would make life easier for her. But you can do what she cannot, and I pray that she finds that peace only you can give and trust that you can/will do what in the natural looks so daunting. I pray for this daughter struggling to do what does not come easy for her. Your promise is that your strength is perfected in weakness - and I ask that if she takes this course that you would enable her by your Holy Spirit to hear, understand and to retain the information given in the course and that she would also be able to do beyond her natural ability on the written exams. May she learn to lean into you and find confidence in knowing that you will supply all that she needs- step by step. If this course is not what you have planned for her then I ask that you make that clear before Dec. 1st. May this girl and her mother rest in the knowing that if you call, you also enable and the enemy has no power against it. The enemy cannot destroy what you plan for your children. Oh Lord, the enemy has gained a foothold in this man's life. I pray that you would break the enemy's hold on him, that you would open to eyes to see the reality of the spiritual battle he is in. Bring people and circumstances into his life that will fight for him against what the enemy wishes to accomplish. If it is medical help he needs then I pray that he would be willing to seek that help. I pray for this dear wife who understandably is in such pain and heartache watching her husband slip away from her. I pray Lord that you will give her a supernatural strength to fight -- not flesh and blood - but the spiritual enemies that would claim her husband's mind and will. Hold her close to you, give her the wisdom and insight she needs to see what is going on and may she be the help meet her husband needs at this time - to do battle for him in prayer where he can no longer pray for himself. May she reject the enemy's lies and deception and may there rise up within her the resolve to love her husband through this until he once again can stand in his own strength. Thank you that he is willing to stay in the marriage, even if he says it is for the children. I ask that this dear wife would find a prayer partner, someone to come alongside to comfort and support. Please send someone to her. I pray for your miracle in this family, that the love between this husband and wife would be greater and deeper than it ever was and that their home could once again be one that is full of love and peace. Two can stand stronger than one alone, yet we know that the real answers and power are in your hand. I pray for patience for this wife, and an undying faithfulness to love and to stand strong even when her husband seems not to show any change or desire to change. Just like the one hammering a rock knows that even though he has struck the rock 199 times with no visible change, the rock will shatter with the 200th strike. So we too know that often it is darkest just before the dawn -- may we not give up before we see the Son rise in our situation. So also I pray for this wife to have a strong resolve to not give up but to continue to stand between her husband and the enemy, trusting in you to be her strength, her sustenance and her comfort. May you hide her in your Presence where she knows that you are strong where she is weak. I pray too for this husband that he find no safe or comfortable place where he has turned away from you and his wife. May his own plans crumble into dust and may everything he trusts in fail until he comes to the end of himself with no where to turn but to you - and then finds that you were waiting for him all along. I wanted to let you know that your prayers for my sister and I have been answered! I have requested prayer a couple of times this year for God to lead us to a new place to rent, within our budget, and that does not have stairs (as my sister cannot go up and down stairs). We looked at a nice duplex last Wednesday, and the landlord called Saturday afternoon and said we could move in as soon as we wanted!! No stairs (there is a partially finished basement, but I can do those stairs, and get whatever she wants up from there). Not only that, but so many people from church, as well as friends outside of church, are coming to help us move. My prayer: God, I give you thanks for providing for my sister and I. In Your time, and in answer to prayers from Your children, You led us to the perfect home where we will be safe. My tears of pain have turned to tears of joy, and of this answer to prayer I will speak of often to glorify You. You are my Provider, my Protector, my Rock. Amen
Heavenly Father, I am coming to you to ask for healing for this young girl. You are the Great Physician, and You have the power and wisdom to help her. Nonetheless, ours is a broken world, and in it, we will have afflictions. As this child is afflicted with diabetes, I pray that you will give her the strength to continue with her medications and diet, especially when she faces the normal teenage social situations that may make her want to deviate from her treatment. Father, I ask that you give her courage to face the times when she will feel alone and "unlike" all her friends who don't have to worry about shots and diets. Please pray for my son, Keegan, who will be going in for surgery on the 17th of December. Over a year ago he had a cardiac arrest at the age of 13. Father, by a miracle you brought Keegan to life and health a year ago because you had a plan a purpose for his life. That plan has not changed. Prayer needed for a co-worker very picky and blaming us (co-workers) for messing around with her decorations she puts up in our office. It came to the point I had to say something to her about blaming and it got a little of out control emailing the childish things over decorations. This co-worker (female) has a PTSD, and on antidespressant medications she gets mad easily I try not to say anything that will get her in mental ward. Please pray for her and myself not to be angry at her and my co-worker. Pray for me to stay calm, and pray for a forgiveness with her. Pray for all of my co-workers.

Prayer needed for my upcoming work schedule that I will be working double shifts 16hrs a day for one week, due to shortage of staff and the coverage is really needed. Pray for a good health, alertness, strengths and I want to be awake throughout the shift. I need prayer tonight i felt discouraged and feeling bad I didn't get an excellent job performance and did not get any bonus into my check for this whole year. I feel I would get it this year, and I feel i did my job, put in a good work this year. But, I feel I am always given not a good favor of all my co-workers. At the same time, I just prayed and thanked the Lord that He had given me a good health, strength and getting to work in good spirit everyday. I need prayer for my grand children, another year has gone by with no reconnections from being lost when they were 5, 4, 2 years of age after their mother had taken the children away from their biological father/grandparents. They have grown into teens now. I am very disappointed agains their mother not letting the kids see/visit us no more. They left 2005, and now they might not know us or they might not care who their biological father is, and I am concern how they are doing everyday I think of them in prayers. Nothings been answered yet. Why? Please pray for them Arielle, Kaitlin and Joshua. I really want to get to know my grand children again. I love them and I missed them dearly. Pray for reconnection.

I am in dire need of your prayers for my father, Edward, in nursing home with parkinson's disease. He was in ER yesterday for not waking up from his sleep. And he awoke in ER, and was diagnosed having constipation problem, and was taken out all of his stools and released back to the nursing home with no severe health conditions. Please pray for my father, and noticing he is getting weak lately. He is a strong believer in God, raised us in church and we grew up having our father taking us to church when we were small and never depart from God. Pray for mom is alone at home without dad being around.

Prayer needed for my grandchildren whom we don't see/visit us anymore. I missed them so much especially these past holidays 2014, no visitation, no word of how they're doing at home and in school. They left us when they were so small, I raised them went to school, watched them and all sudden they were taken away out of our lives. Their mother went for another man, and my son wasn't aware of anything like that would happen to him. My son misses his children so much. Their mother won't allow the kids to see their biological father (my son). That is so sad. Pray for reconnections with my grand children.

Lord, you are our provider and not only ours, but also for our adult children whom we continue to carry in our hearts and we feel their needs and concerns. I ask with this mother that you provide for her daughter who is struggling to meet her financial obligations. If a part time job is her answer I pray it come her way. Please prayer for our neighbor "N". He has cancer and it has caused him to be paralyzed at the present time. He lives alone, no family and is in the hospital. He is not feeling well and feeling like he will never be able to come home. Please pray for his spirit, his health and healing. All he wants to do is enjoy his little dog and keep his lawn mowed. I need your prayers for obeying what my doctor told me, with sugar being high, and high blood pressure, and I am needing your prayers to get on diet to control my sugar level. Pray for my father suffering in nursing home; family had a tough decision this past weekend. We all need your prayers for out father getting his nourishments by IV only at this time. A crushed bruised reed is exactly what she is right now. She went through all of high school embarrassed with her struggles, and now it is happening all over again. Why does God allow her to lose so much self esteem and confidence. She is completely crushed. I am not asking for healing from cancer or some other huge miracle, which i know God can if He chooses, all i am asking is for a passing grade in one course. It sounds petty to some probably but to her this is huge. She has said time and again if she can't accomplish this small thing (as the world sees it) how will she accomplish life? This morning she cried why can't i just be successful in one thing? Why God, why? My only hope is that He will come in the final hour.?
Dear Heavenly Father, You know how defeated this gal feels and we know that Your arm is not too short to reach her in her time of need. We ask that she will know, above all, that her worth is not in what she can or cannot do, but in the fact that You love her the way that You created her to be. I ask that You guide her in the way she should go and show her what it is she can do that You have specifically enabled her for. My heart breaks for this mother and daughter and I see your eyes upon them with compassion infinitely deeper than any human compassion could possibly be! Have you forgotten them ? NO, I know that you have not. Oh, God , I pray that you reveal yourself to them in a most remarkable, unexpected, miraculous way that they will never doubt your love for them again! Inspire this daughter to know how perfect your love is for her .may she know she can throw herself into your arms and know that you will hold her and tell her what a treasure she is to you and that your plan for her is not based on the frail worldly standard but on your perfect one ! And your plan for her is amazing ...I ask that you give her the strength to lift her eyes from her own view of herself to see your view of her - I know it would put a huge smile on her face ... Thank you for praying. Been a rough weekend. She writes her final test tomorrow, Tues March 31 at 5 o'clock Manitoba time. It will take a miracle, so that is what I have been and will be praying for. May my faith be enough.

My daughter's child is being raised by a father who is controlling and hateful. He took my daughter's child from her and went to a lawyer to gain custody several months ago. My daughter will be going to court in November and we hope she can at least receive more than two weekends a month with her precious child. We have all prayed about this and have given our daughter and granddaughter a home, but now, only God and Jesus can see us through to win over this despicable man.
O Father, how quickly our hearts melt into yours when the well being of a child is at risk. Your eyes are on this girl and you alone can work the details into place that will bring her back into a safe,loving home where she will be taught of you.
I pray that you would work in her father's heart, that he would be convicted of his sin and recognize that he will answer to you for his actions. I would pray for his salvation, that he would have a life changing experience with you and his heart and life would be changed.

I pray for this woman who so feels that she has been treated unfairly, and so she probably has! But what she is missing is that your plans for us are always superior and higher and better than the plans we have for ourselves. Man may close a door but it is what you need to open the door of a better opportunity or to open the window that leads us directly into your well-thought out plan and purpose for our life. I pray that you would melt this dear one's anger and open her eyes to see and feel with excitement the plans you have waiting for her. I pray that in finishing her time in her job that she will have an attitude that will leave behind the fragrance of your grace and love. Fill her with your peace.. may she know and believe that man cannot take away from her what you have planned for her good! O Lord, may she patiently wait in faith to see what surprises you have for her and may she look back on this job loss as a good and necessary thing. Fill her with the assurance that you ARE in control and no man can undo your plans. Bless this husband/wife with your abundance and joy even in the face of temporary personal disappointment. Our daughter has just been diagnosed as celiac. She bawled when we told her no more of her favorite Oma treats - but she was greatly relieved when I showed her the Rollkuchen and peppernuts recipes. Oh Father, the pain and suffering of broken families is so deep. I pray for Brian that he would find rest in you - that he would find that place of trust that puts His focus on you. I pray that he could be reconciled with his children. I pray for Yvonne that she would not stand in her children's way to see their father. Give Brian wisdom to know how to seek reconciliation with Yvonne that she would be willing to work with him and not against him. May the children not continue to pay the price of divided parents. O Lord, I don't know how to pray for this situation but you already know what is right and good and I pray that you work it out according to your will and purpose. Father, I pray for Lawrence who has been struggling with severe pain in his knee and now the medications have added to his problems. I pray that you bring healing to his knee, either through surgery or therapy or miraculous restoration. Thank you for your prayers for my husband, Lawrence, on November 8, 2014, he fell on his knee on a hard cement, missed his steps, and landed hard on the cement after getting off the street bus coming back from work, took him to the hospital, had x-ray done thank goodness no broken bones or no cuts just major stratches and he has sores from it. He is in pain. God does answers prayers, and i thanked the Lord he didn't have any major hurt. My daughter and I prayed on our way to pick him up off the road; sure enough he didn't hurt too bad, and please pray for a speed recovery and pray for miracle healing. Pray its all in God's will.
Hello MGCC. Thank you for sharing your recipes and sharing your faith. I ask for prayer for my youngest daughter. She struggled through school but she graduated! We are so proud of her. Now she has a full time job but she is required to take a 40 hour course if she wants to continue to work there. She took the course and passed but not with the required percentage to receive the certificate. She has to take another one if she wants to stay there. She struggled so through that course and we prayed so hard that everything would work out and we don't understand why this happened. She is not a book learner, she is a hands on, practical learner. She is good at her job and since we live in a rural area, there are not a lot of other job opportunities. Please pray with us that God would show her what to do and that He would give her hope, determination, joy and peace with whatever His answer is.
Lord, I thank you that you protected Lawrence from serious harm as he fell on the hard cement. I pray that you would ease the pain he feels, that his recovery would be quick and complete. May his knee heal so that it is as good as new and will no longer be painful or cause him to stumble. I keep getting into arguments about faith with one of my atheist friends. She thinks believing in God - any God - makes the believer intellectually inferior, which makes it very, very difficult to debate any matters of faith, especially because sometimes, she comes out on the attack. It's not straining our friendship, but it is something that we keep coming back to. Help??
Lord, I smile sometimes as I'm sure you do to see how eager many atheists are to speak of You. If they do not believe you are real, why is it that you are so often in their thoughts and in their conversation. I pray for this one as she interacts with her atheist friend. I pray that you so fill her with your Presence and your grace and love that all arguments thrown against her will be answered with your insight and wisdom. I pray that you continue to convict this one that thinks she does not believe in you, draw her to yourself and I pray even as you have placed one of your children in her life that she would see your image in her and that her life would speak louder than her words. Make the friend thirsty and hungry for what she sees in your child. I pray that your child would not be discouraged but just continue to love the one you have placed in her life - for a purpose! Please pray for my granddaughter who is due be born March 8, 2015. An ultrasound showed a spot on her heart which can be an indicator of Downs Syndrome. The blood tests have not indicated anything, but it is still a concern. Please pray that the next ultrasound does not show anything on her sweet little heart. I asked my daughter how she dealt with the news and she said, "If Baby Girl has Downs then she will be sweet and cuddly and lovable and if she does not have Downs then she will be sweet and cuddly and lovable." I am humbled by her attitude. God's will be done, but we ask for a healthy baby.
Hello again Julie. My daughter has decided to try another course which starts on December 1 and is 4 months long... It is still my prayer that God would intervene with a miracle before the 1st. I confess that it is hard to have faith in that though. It is my prayer that if she does this course, she would attack it with confidence and determination, which can only come from God, because right now she has zero confidence. She cried and said that she wished she was smart, then this wouldn't have happened. My heart breaks for her and all I can do is pray and trust that it will make a difference this time. I am afraid that she is feeling like a victim instead of a victor and be turned away from God. May what Satan intended to harm be made good by the grace of our Lord Jesus. Please pray for my husband and I. I am in despair. My husband has told me that he is not sure he wants to be married to me, or to anyone, but he does love me as person. He is only staying in our marriage for our children. I truly believe that he has pulled away from me because of depression (my diagnosis, not a doctor's). I am so lost, so sad and so unsure what to do and how to get him to seek help. I put on a brave face for my children but I am struggling so much. It is all I can do to keep from crying all day.. But you can do what she cannot, and I pray that she finds that peace only you can give and trust that you can/will do what in the natural looks so daunting. Your promise is that your strength is perfected in weakness - and I ask that if she takes this course that you would enable her by your Holy Spirit to hear, understand and to retain the information given in the course and that she would also be able to do beyond her natural ability on the written exams. If this course is not what you have planned for her then I ask that you make that clear before Dec. 1st. Oh Lord, the enemy has gained a foothold in this man's life. I pray that you would break the enemy's hold on him, that you would open to eyes to see the reality of the spiritual battle he is in. If it is medical help he needs then I pray that he would be willing to seek that help.
I pray for this dear wife who understandably is in such pain and heartache watching her husband slip away from her. I pray Lord that you will give her a supernatural strength to fight -- not flesh and blood - but the spiritual enemies that would claim her husband's mind and will. Just like the one hammering a rock knows that even though he has struck the rock 199 times with no visible change, the rock will shatter with the 200th strike. So we too know that often it is darkest just before the dawn -- may we not give up before we see the Son rise in our situation. So also I pray for this wife to have a strong resolve to not give up but to continue to stand between her husband and the enemy, trusting in you to be her strength, her sustenance and her comfort. I wanted to let you know that your prayers for my sister and I have been answered! I have requested prayer a couple of times this year for God to lead us to a new place to rent, within our budget, and that does not have stairs (as my sister cannot go up and down stairs). We looked at a nice duplex last Wednesday, and the landlord called Saturday afternoon and said we could move in as soon as we wanted!! No stairs (there is a partially finished basement, but I can do those stairs, and get whatever she wants up from there).
Not only that, but so many people from church, as well as friends outside of church, are coming to help us move.
My prayer:
God, I give you thanks for providing for my sister and I. In Your time, and in answer to prayers from Your children, You led us to the perfect home where we will be safe. My tears of pain have turned to tears of joy, and of this answer to prayer I will speak of often to glorify You. You are my Provider, my Protector, my Rock. Amen
Heavenly Father, I am coming to you to ask for healing for this young girl. You are the Great Physician, and You have the power and wisdom to help her. Nonetheless, ours is a broken world, and in it, we will have afflictions. As this child is afflicted with diabetes, I pray that you will give her the strength to continue with her medications and diet, especially when she faces the normal teenage social situations that may make her want to deviate from her treatment. Father, I ask that you give her courage to face the times when she will feel alone and "unlike" all her friends who don't have to worry about shots and diets. Father, by a miracle you brought Keegan to life and health a year ago because you had a plan a purpose for his life. That plan has not changed. Prayer needed for a co-worker very picky and blaming us (co-workers) for messing around with her decorations she puts up in our office. It came to the point I had to say something to her about blaming and it got a little of out control emailing the childish things over decorations. This co-worker (female) has a PTSD, and on antidespressant medications she gets mad easily I try not to say anything that will get her in mental ward. Please pray for her and myself not to be angry at her and my co-worker. Pray for me to stay calm, and pray for a forgiveness with her. Pray for all of my co-workers.

Father, I pray for this couple with health issues. You came as our Healer. I ask that the symptoms this woman is suffering from would ease and disappear. You can restore her to health so she can sleep and do the things she needs to do. I pray for healing for both of them but I also pray for them to have the strength and incentive to learn to do the things they can do to control their diabetes. Help them, O Lord, and bring the right medical care/advice that they need and also the encouragement and help of family and friends. Bless them this Christmas season and may their new year be one filled with your gifts. In Jesus' name , amen.
Prayer needed for my upcoming work schedule that I will be working double shifts 16hrs a day for one week, due to shortage of staff and the coverage is really needed. Pray for a good health, alertness, strengths and I want to be awake throughout the shift. Pray for all the hospital patients they will be in good spirit, and I don't want to have any code arrests, or death during my shifts. O Lord, I pray for this nurse facing a difficult week of double shifts. I ask Lord that you supernaturally giver her strength and alertness that will enable her to take care of her patients. I need prayer tonight i felt discouraged and feeling bad I didn't get an excellent job performance and did not get any bonus into my check for this whole year. I feel I would get it this year, and I feel i did my job, put in a good work this year. But, I feel I am always given not a good favor of all my co-workers. At the same time, I just prayed and thanked the Lord that He had given me a good health, strength and getting to work in good spirit everyday. Please pray for me to not feel bad about not getting an excellent job performance this year (2014). Pray I will have a good health, and will continue to do my job in good spirit daily. I need prayer for my grand children, another year has gone by with no reconnections from being lost when they were 5, 4, 2 years of age after their mother had taken the children away from their biological father/grandparents. They have grown into teens now. I am very disappointed agains their mother not letting the kids see/visit us no more. They left 2005, and now they might not know us or they might not care who their biological father is, and I am concern how they are doing everyday I think of them in prayers. Nothings been answered yet. Why? Please pray for them Arielle, Kaitlin and Joshua. I really want to get to know my grand children again. I love them and I missed them dearly. Pray for reconnection.

I am in dire need of your prayers for my father, Edward, in nursing home with parkinson's disease. He was in ER yesterday for not waking up from his sleep. And he awoke in ER, and was diagnosed having constipation problem, and was taken out all of his stools and released back to the nursing home with no severe health conditions. Please pray for my father, and noticing he is getting weak lately. He is a strong believer in God, raised us in church and we grew up having our father taking us to church when we were small and never depart from God. Pray for mom is alone at home without dad being around.

Prayer needed for my grandchildren whom we don't see/visit us anymore. I missed them so much especially these past holidays 2014, no visitation, no word of how they're doing at home and in school. They left us when they were so small, I raised them went to school, watched them and all sudden they were taken away out of our lives. Their mother went for another man, and my son wasn't aware of anything like that would happen to him. My son misses his children so much. Their mother won't allow the kids to see their biological father (my son). That is so sad. Pray for reconnections with my grand children.

I need your prayers for obeying what my doctor told me, with sugar being high, and high blood pressure, and I am needing your prayers to get on diet to control my sugar level. Things are not going well. I just don't understand....
Ohhh Lord, you understand how our hearts grow heavy when our prayers don't seem to change anything .. when we see what needs to happen to make things right and then the opposite happens. Oh forgive us, Lord, when we so quickly lose faith in you and your perfect will for us ... when we struggle to find our own way when you are holding back because you are waiting for us to become quiet and let you bring your perfect will into our lives. You understand this mother's hurt for her daughter , you understand the struggles of the daughter .. but you are not far away, you are as near as our breath. I ask, Lord , that you reveal to this mother and her daughter that you have not forgotten them, that you do have a plan - a good plan that you will bring to pass. Show them your love and care, change their discouragement to hope and their despair to trust and their heavy hearts to joy ! Where they do not understand, may they be reassured that you do. You will not crush a bruised reed ... and I intercede for this family that you will give them a break through beyond what they could have imagined or hope for ! A crushed bruised reed is exactly what she is right now. She went through all of high school embarrassed with her struggles, and now it is happening all over again. Why does God allow her to lose so much self esteem and confidence. She is completely crushed. I am not asking for healing from cancer or some other huge miracle, which i know God can if He chooses, all i am asking is for a passing grade in one course. It sounds petty to some probably but to her this is huge. She has said time and again if she can't accomplish this small thing (as the world sees it) how will she accomplish life? This morning she cried why can't i just be successful in one thing? Why God, why? My only hope is that He will come in the final hour.?
Dear Heavenly Father, You know how defeated this gal feels and we know that Your arm is not too short to reach her in her time of need. We ask that she will know, above all, that her worth is not in what she can or cannot do, but in the fact that You love her the way that You created her to be. I ask that You guide her in the way she should go and show her what it is she can do that You have specifically enabled her for. Surround her with people who will encourage her and help her in such a way that she will know Your peace and purpose for her life. May Your peace also settle over her mom and may she be encouraged in You.
Oh, Lord, when you said a bruised reed you would not crush, you were talking about this daughter by name. My heart breaks for this mother and daughter and I see your eyes upon them with compassion infinitely deeper than any human compassion could possibly be! Have you forgotten them ? NO, I know that you have not. Oh, God , I pray that you reveal yourself to them in a most remarkable, unexpected, miraculous way that they will never doubt your love for them again! Inspire this daughter to know how perfect your love is for her .may she know she can throw herself into your arms and know that you will hold her and tell her what a treasure she is to you and that your plan for her is not based on the frail worldly standard but on your perfect one ! And your plan for her is amazing ...I ask that you give her the strength to lift her eyes from her own view of herself to see your view of her - I know it would put a huge smile on her face ... I FEEL your love for her, Lord and I pray that she will feel it too... may her trust in your goodness as her Father be so strong nothing can shake it ! Be her tower of refuge and strength, O Lord and meet her at her point of need, covering her with your abundance. Amen.
Thank you for praying. Been a rough weekend. She writes her final test tomorrow, Tues March 31 at 5 o'clock Manitoba time. It will take a miracle, so that is what I have been and will be praying for. May my faith be enough.
Dear Lord, I pray along side this mother for her daughter to have a clear mind and peace as she writes this exam today.. ... May your grace cover her and she remember all that she has learned and be able to pull it out when she needs it .. May she do well on this exam to continue her job as she desires .. We trust you Lord, for you are good and you are a God of miracles as you watch over your children. In Jesus' name we pray .. amen .
Please pray for my husband, Lawrence, for healing for his knee to back at home from severe pain; pray also for the upcoming MRI on his knee, pray for they will find nothing severe. Please pray for a speedy recovery so he can return to work. Thanks.
Please pray for my mother, Hazel, lately she's going in and out of the hospital; 85 years in February 8th. She's been so sick; weakness and bone density is very high risk found it's brittle. Please pray for my mom; we all love her at home.
I need prayer for my sister, Lena, her mammogram result came in abnormal and is going to get biopsy done soon. Pray they will find nothing wrong with the tests, etc. She is a strong believer in the Lord.
Lord, we pray for Lawrence's knee that needs your healing touch. You know his discouragement at once again being home unable to do his job. May the upcoming MRI be helpful in discerning the problem and may it be one that has an easy solution. Give the doctors wisdom to work with your healing to put this problem knee back to the perfect state in which you created it ! Bless Lawrence with patience and may this time off work be a time of rest, not only to his body, but also to his spirit - a time that strengthens his faith in you. We are so grateful that you never leave us or forsake us and you bring nothing into our life that you do not plan to use for good ! Father, every day of our life is a gift from your hands and we thank you for them - and thank you that when our days here on earth are finished the best is yet to come ! But you also understand when our bodies become frail how difficult it is for the one who suffers and for those who love her. Protect Hazel from falling, from weakness and from broken bones. I pray Lord, that you would grant her strength and health to be there for her family who love her! Thank you for this loving family - I feel your love smiling down upon them... Bless them with your goodness, I pray ... in Jesus' all-sufficient name, amen.
Father, I pray for Lena, who has received disturbing news that 'sounds' like fear alarms ringing... but you are not moved by medical test results and neither are you surprised by them - be they right or be they wrong. I pray, Lord, that as Lena undergoes the biopsy that the results will show no cause for alarm ... that any abnormality is simply benign. You watch over your children with such tender care and I pray that Lena will be at peace knowing that only good is in your thoughts toward her. Envelope her in your peace and may not a single worry cross her mind. In Jesus' name, amen .
