If you could, please pray for my grandmother. She is becoming more angry and confused in her late years. I pray she finds peace in her mind and in her heart.

Dear Lord, I pray for Rachel's grandmother. I ask that the anger and confusion in her mind would melt into Your peace. I pray that 'old age' or failing health will not rob her from being the blessing that she is to her family. I thank you for the love that Rachel has for her grandmother and may her grandmother feel and connect to the love that they have shared over the years. Thank you for hearing our prayer... in Jesus' name we come.. Amen

Father I too lift up Rachel's grandmother to you today. I pray that you would quiet her heart and mind and fill her with peace. Lord you understand the aging process and we need Your grace as we walk this season with the aging. We thank you for your loving care. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

Father, you understand how difficult things of the heart can be and I pray for this young man who is experiencing girl trouble. I pray that you would help him in comforting him and giving him wisdom in knowing what he should do. I pray that both he and the girl would be honest with each other... and if they are meant to be together than you would use this as a time of growing in maturity of relationship.
Calm this young man's troubled emotions and focus his thoughts on you and trust you for the answers to his problem. May he know how much you love him. in Jesus' name we pray .. Amen

Please pray for my mother and sister, so they can enjoy a loving relationship and not have such hurt and anger between them. Thank you, Ann-Marie.

Julie said...

Father, I know that love and forgiveness are your heart's desire for your children. You know what has come between Ann-Marie's mother and sister and I pray that they will see how their hurt and anger hurts those around them but most of all how much it hurts them. May they recognize how much you have loved and forgiven them and may they this Christmas season give that great gift of forgiveness to each other. Heal this family , O Lord, ...and bless Ann-Marie even as she brings peace into her family. in Jesus name, I ask Amen

I would like prayer for my growing family. The Lord has blessed me with a baby. He has also blessed me and my husband with new jobs. I give a prayer in thankfulness and gratitude for my husband to work close to home. I pray for a healthy full term baby with easy labor and delivery. I am off work as of this Friday. I pray for God's blessing and guidance with my time. I pray for health. I also pray for my relationship with my mom. It's been rough. I pray for healing and blessing. I also pray for God to take care of my career after maternity leave. Bless us all O Lord. In Jesus's name we pray. Amen!

Dear Lord, I thank you for the prayers You have already answered for this dear family. I thank You for the baby soon to be born and for the husband's work close to home. I thank you for this soon to be new mom who desires to make the most of her time. I pray You will give her wisdom, especially in her relationship with her mom. Help her to show love and work toward a restored relationship. Help her to put her trust in You for all of her future concerns. Sometimes it seems like they keep coming, in order to show us how we need You and to show us how much You care about the details of our lives. I p[ray for Your peace to reign over this home this Christmas and in the coming year.

Please pray for an emotionally troubled and sick patient (middle aged woman) who asked me to pray for her and also said she would appreciate prayers from anyone willing to give them. Thank you.

Dear Father , we bring this one asking for prayer support to you and ask that you carry her through this difficult time in her life. May she feel your arms under her and may her fears and anxiety be melted in your love for her. We pray to for her physical and emotional healing and that her heart and mind will be in peace~! In Jesus' name we pray .. amen

My husband and I are going through some hard times. It has brought out anger between us. He had been having an emotional affair with another woman. I forgave him and continuously am trying to forgive him. I feel hurt, numb and lonely (it's the loneliest I have ever felt), withdrawn- Its not something I want broadcasted about him or I. Thanks for praying.

Oh Lord, I pray for this marriage that is under attack by the enemy .. and I pray that the enemy will not win! I pray for healing and a forgiving heart for this wife and repentance for her husband. Lord may this difficult time work to the end of a stronger marriage, a deeper commitment between them and a renewing of relationship. May their hearts be secure in Your love -- your love for them and your love in them for each other. I pray too that they will receive support from people they can trust who will come alongside and be understanding with wise advice. ... in Jesus' name , Amen

My husband of 36 years recently passed away quite suddenly from cancer. He was always a very secretive person, and though he was outgoing, he never let anyone know what he was doing or thinking. I found out the reason why a few weeks ago - he was having an affair. My children tell me that it doesn't matter because he is dead now, but I loved him and I am very hurt and angry. Of course the woman didn't take care of him in the end, I did. He said he loved me during that time, but I knew something was wrong. I don't understand why a 68 year old man would ruin our lives like he did, but not have the decency to tell me and just leave. I think he didn't want to split up our money. I imagine you must know how that makes me feel. I just can't get past this and he has been dead for 2 years. My children don't understand my anger and sadness. My prayers have been unceasing, but I don't hear God's answer. Please pray for me.

Father my heart breaks for this woman who has been betrayed in the worst kind of way and left with no way to find closure or healing. The only answer she has is in giving it all to you. Help her, Lord to gather together her broken heart, her wounded, angry emotions, her mental anguish , package them up and carry the bundle to your throne and hand the package up to you... exchanging it for a whole heart. May she hear your voice whisper .. 'Peace, be still". Lord, may she know your love and focus on the good things in her life, her loved ones that need her and yearn to see her happy again. Thank you for understanding us, Father, when we cannot understand ourselves and thank you for carrying us over the most rocky terrain of our life path... speak freedom to this dear widow and bless her ! in Jesus' name, Amen

Lord, I pray for this pastor that he will not be discouraged as he goes through this difficult time but that it will be a time that strengthens him even as you have called him to guide and strengthen others. May he look to You alone for his comfort, his peace and his answers and may his hope in you not fade. Surround Him, Lord and protect him from the devices of the enemy that he will stand and not be defeated ! Draw this husband and wife together .. that together they can overcome ! Pour your grace out upon them ... we thank you, and pray in Jesus' name .. amen

my marriage...

Julie said...

Lord, you know the one who cried out for their marriage and you know all the details... and understand. You are the one who ordained marriage and no human relationship is as important to you. I pray that you intervene in this marriage and bring into it what is needed to make it a marriage of commitment and joy and deep intimacy. And may love of you be their centre and anchor. Bring healing and restoration and forgiveness where it is needed... I ask in Jesus' name, amen .

Anneliese said...

My heart goes out to the one who uttered those two words.... I ask for healing and restoration through Jesus. May His love and forgiveness cover the pain and lead you. I say Amen to Julie's prayer.

Kathy said...

Father I come into this circle of prayer agreeing with Julie and Anneliese's prayers. You are a great and merciful God, may Your loving kindness lead to repentance and restoration. Thank you for the cries of help from one longing for wholeness in marriage....it's good to share our sorrows....as we were never made to carry our burdens alone.

Would you please thank the Lord for his help in enabling me to overcome cancer, now 21 years ag, which changed my life. Would you also thank him for helping me, one day at a time, to overcome the problems/difficulties I am now going through. It is tough, but I know I will get there with his help.

We pray for Your blessing and encouragement in this coming year and that Your presence will be evident in every small and big thing along the way. We thank You for the reminder that You inhabit the praises of your people
and draw near to those who draw near to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Hey, my name is Letisha Brantley(37) a mother of 3 and I'm in need of gods help. If you would take a prayer to the alter for me and ask the father to give me strength in my beliefs. I'm going through depression right now and I'm having a hard time being or shall I say thinking positive. I've recently walked away from my job due to this illness. Now I'm struggling financially and I can't seem to muscle up the strength to get back out there to fine work even though I know I need too. It seems every time I feel like I'm doing well I fall right back into my moods. I just need god to rest in me and give me back my self esteem. It's so hard but lord knows I'm trying. Please say a word on my behalf.

Julie said...

Dear Lord, I pray for Letisha who is struggling in her faith and in her life circumstances. May she know that you have not given her a spirit of fear, but of love and power and a sound mind. May she know that your strength is perfected in her weakness ... may she trust you to lead her according to your good purposes for her. May she rest knowing that you know every day of her life, every thought she thinks, every need she has and that you have promised to provide out of your riches. May she recognize her worth as your child, one loved by the King of Kings ... a sheep of His pasture. Guide her, protect her and lead her beside the still waters and restore her soul preparing a table of provision before her ... In Jesus name I ask.... amen

Anneliese said...

Dear Lord, I also want to pray Letisha as she is reaching out to You for help. I ask that You would strengthen her faith and help her to believe that You love her and will care for her needs. Help her to find the right job for her, a place where people will care about her. I pray that she can find a church where others will come around her to help her and encourage her, that she will not feel alone. Lord, guide her in the way she should go . . . bless her, make Your face to shine on her and give her Your peace. Amen

Could you please pray for my mother today as I am fearful she could try to take her own life...It is difficult even for me to write that "out loud" because then I have to admit to myself that this is where she is at. Over the last few years she has gone through a number of unbearable trials and personal attacks. Divorce, care taking of abusive people, custody court battles with dishonest people, job loss, depression, isolation, and unexplainable illness. I know that God is bigger than all this and believe his promise of great & prosperous plans for her. If you could join me in praying for a miracle and for the right resources to help her. I am so grateful to be able to send this prayer request.

Julie said...

Oh Lord, I pray that you would come alongside this mother who is overwhelmed with life circumstances. I pray that she will not be overcome but will turn to you, recognizing that you are her only answer, her only refuge.I pray for her to have mental stability, emotional calm and physical well being!. may you be her Healer. I pray for her daughter, that you will give her the strength and wisdom that she needs to be there for her Mom. Bring your people alongside to support and comfort them and speak hope into their lives. I pray that your light would shine in their darkness ... in Jesus' name I pray .. .amen

Anneliese said...

I'm agreeing with Julie in prayer ... Lord give hope in this overwhelming circumstance. Let this dear lady know that You love her and are able to make something good out of all the bad. Let Your peace rest on her, Lord. Amen.

I am in much need of prayer because my family (husband and adult children and their families) and I are trying to relocate back home to NY from FL, but it seems so daunting. My credit is so low I'm not sure if we will be able to purchase another house or rent. My father is also sick (86 yrs old) and I would like to be there for him. My sister is also living without heat and sometimes it's hard for her to even find money to eat. I want to be there for her as well. Trying to get jobs for all of us in this ever changing economy is proving difficult, but I believe God is able to do all things. I am a teacher and I can still go back to my old school district, but I have to work on my husbands employment. We cannot leave until we find jobs and housing. Please pray for us, for jobs, housing and stability. This request is probably very jumbled but this is how I feel most days. I have never asked someone I don't know to pray for me, but I just felt lead in my spirit to put in this request.
Note: I know people are probably surprised to hear that someone would want to leave sunny Fl! Well, all our family is up North and we are very much alone out here. We have tried to make it work for 5 years and it has only depleted our savings, isolated us from family, we have no real church home and the list goes on.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enter my request and for taking the time to pray for me. God Bless all 10 of you.

Julie said...

Oh Father, I thank you that there are no strangers in your family -- only brothers and sisters we haven't met yet ! You know the concerns of Nettie who faces major changes in her life with so much that needs to fall into place. I pray that jobs, housing, moving , family issues, stability, all fall into the place you have already gone before to prepare! I pray that this family as it draws together in support of each other will be a blessing and a witness to those around them. May they find safe and solid church- family fellowship in their old neighbourhoods in NY. I ask for your peace to cover them as you direct their steps. In Jesus' name I pray, amen

Please pray for our pastor. Steve and his wife led our church for 8 years until she passed away (she died of cancer, despite all our imploring for healing, which was hard on us as a church too). This is the two-year anniversary of her death. Steve has also announced he's resigning frim leadership. Leading and mourning are too taxing. I hope you can help me pray for his strength, for his next steps, and also for our church that we stay string and help guide new leadership. I really appreciate te prayers i've received from you women in the past, thank you for praying now

Julie said...

Lord, when we do not understand why things happen and why our pleading prayers were not answered, we can still take comfort in the fact that you make no mistakes and when your ways are past finding out, your character is not ! I pray for this church that you would meet them where they are and strengthen them - provide them with the leaders they need. May they seek and find your comfort and hear your voice as to the way they should go. I pray too for Steve who is still grieving his wife and feeling so alone in his ministry. Give him a fresh vision, new inspiration and filling of your Spirit that he would be able to - with joy - fulfil the work/ministry you still have for him to do. May even this difficult loss and sorrow not defeat him but make him stronger. According to your mercies we intercede, O Father ! amen

I am not sure what it is I am asking for prayer for. I am 53 and divorced after a thirty year marriage. I just completed my third move since the divorce. This time in with a roommate, which God miraculously provided. A roommate was necessary because I couldn't afford the rent. This should be good but instead I am feeling intense loss, overwhelming grief and pain. My husband still has the house while I am living in an apartment where I feel like all personal things such as family photos, heirlooms etc. need to be displayed only in my room. I know my heart needs healing and that goes way beyond my living circumstances. Please pray for me.

Julie said...

Father you know this one crying out from the depths of her heart. You know her 'lostness' and her pain. You see her every thought and know every step of her life. I pray for her, Lord, that you would, according to your will, bring reconciliation between her and her husband, that there would be forgiveness and compassion and understanding where now there is none. Work your restoration miracles, Father.
I pray that you would come near to this dear woman and heal her broken heart, may she find her 'safe place' in you and may she experience the abundance of your provision. May she find peace even as she trusts in you and may she know your deep caring love wrapped around her. May she walk even as you lay her steps before her. May she know that you desire only your best for her - and the things of this world cannot hinder your good will and purposes. Lift her up and set her on high with you. I ask these things in Jesus' name, amen

In your "Comment As" Anonymous was the only choice I was able to make because I haven't any of the others. My name is Joan Ellis and I am from Alberta Canada. I would appreciate it very much if you would lift up my adult son Jimmy in prayer that he would be delivered from alcohol and drug addiction. I have a grandson, Tanton who was recently diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1. I know he can be cured because I have done much research. Tanton recently turned 18. Please pray that he will be lead into Holy friendships and that God would grant him the discipline necessary so Tanton will take better care of himself and be healed from Diabetes through proper diet, healthy lifestyle and faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you so much. Joan

Julie said...

Lord, I stand with Joan who is asking for your intervention for her son, Jimmy. He needs deliverance from the bondage the enemy has lured him into. May he feel an abhorrence for the things that in the past drew him. May He look to you as the one who meets all his needs - the only one who has the answers he needs. You are the great healer and I ask that you would bring Jimmy into a place of health, physically and spiritually. I pray too for Tanton who has been recently diagnosed with Diabetes. I pray that the people gathering around him would be godly people who will encourage him to do the things he needs to do, lifestyle changes and dietary changes as well as spiritual changes. . May he find Christian friends who will stand with him, encouraging him to have faith in you. Work in the lives of both Jimmy and Tanton. that they would find their anchor in you and build a healthy father/son relationship. Bless this mother/grandmother with wisdom to help them, out of her love for them. May you bless this family, in Jesus' name, amen.
