Please pray for my gentleman friend who just had another stroke and is not doing very well. He is 67 years old and he is all that I have in this world and I need him. Thank you so much, and God Bless.

Lord, I pray for Janina's friend who has suffered another stroke. I pray, Lord, that you will grant him healing in his body. Cause any damage the strokes have done to reverse and allow him to function fully. I do not know if he is yours, but I pray that you will also draw him near to you in soul and spirit. I pray too for Janina, that you will give her a peace and the assurance that you will not leave her comfortless but are with her. Grant that she may enjoy this meaningful friendship for more years to come... and I pray your blessing upon them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Please pray for my husband Paul who left us 4 years ago. He has a drinking problem/alcoholic and needs help.I really want him to get better and re-establish contact with our children. Pray for all of us as a family we all have been broken through this. Many thanks.

Lord, I think of the apostle Paul, who was determinedly going the wrong way and you changed his direction, changed him and for the rest of his life he was sold out for you ! I pray for this namesake that you also bring into his life a Damascus road experience that will turn his life around - that will cause him to spend his tomorrow's glorifying you. May he return to his family to be the husband and father that you desire him to be. Free him from his addiction - take away his very desire for drink .. may he thirst for the Water of Life. Restore this family for your glory, heal their brokenness... may joy yet be their portion ! In Jesus' name, amen.

Dear Julie - thank you so much for being a beacon of prayer and hope. Please pray for my husband, Cisco. He has been having health problems and now the huge elephant in the room is cancer. If his numbers on a blood test don't go down, we'll have to start considering brutal treatments & surgery. As he's 72 years young, surgery could be especially difficult for him to recover from... And possibly not even a good option for him. We are trying to hold onto positive thoughts that the numbers will go down and he doesn't have cancer. Also, I struggle with anxiety and depression and this has me reeling. I'm really trying to hold onto Jesus and my faith... I just feel so weak in my walk with the Lord right now... and I feel ashamed about that....

Julie said...

Oh Father... I pray for Cookie, I pray for her to be so surrounded by your presence of peace and love that all her fears and anxieties melt away. May she know that she knows that you never change, your promises are eternal, you faithfulness new every morning. May the enemy have no room to whisper lies of despair and condemnation. Their is no rebuke in your love for us when the light of our faith grows dim. May your comforting voice be the only voice she hears! I pray for her dear husband, Cisco .. whose blood count could signal something serious.I pray Lord that the numbers on his blood test go down - whether the doctors can understand it or not ! May his next test be within the normal range. You are our great healer .. and I ask this miracle from your hand. Bless Cookie and Cisco with goodness and fill their hearts with joy. All you need is a mustard seed of faith and Cookie and Cisco offer you what they have and it is enough! Fill their weakness with your strength and grant them their hearts' desire ! in Jesus' name , I plead, amen.

Please pray for my daughter who is going for a blood test today. This test will determine if her peanut allergy is life threatening. We pray that God will bless us and that the allergy will not be life threatening. Bless her technicians to draw blood painlessly. Bless her body that she does not have any allergies and no longer has any restrictions on food. Please heal us all

Julie said...

Dear Lord, we all know someone who deals with peanut allergy and it is involves a constant on-guard watchfulness - not an easy way to live. I pray for this daughter that you would cause there to be a healing in her body - that her body would no longer make ingesting peanuts a life threatening situation. I pray that the tests be painless and the results show no allergy to peanuts or anything else. Give wisdom and insight to medical staff... and I pray that you bless this family with your goodness and peace. May they know your all-caring love! In Jesus' name I pray, amen

Please pray for my husband to turn to God for help, He has been out of work for a year, although on severance pay, and is getting discouraged now.

Father, I pray for this husband. You understand how a man feels about supporting his family and you understand his feelings of discouragement and failure. Bring people and circumstances into his life that will encourage him to look to you for help - that he would trust you to provide that job for him no matter how hopeless it looks. Touch him, Lord with your love and may he see your miraculous working in his life. In Jesus' name , amen.

Please pray that my glaucoma will be healed.

Julie said...

Lord, you are the great healer and have healed many. You have also gifted and enabled men to gain wisdom in how to treat the failings of our body. I am thankful that you brought medical attention to my husband before his eye sight failed from glaucoma, thank you for the drops that keep it from getting worse. I pray that you preserve the eye sight of this dear lady that she will be able to continue to 'see' to enjoy the life you have given her. In Jesus' name, amen.

I am in need of prayer for my daughter in-law, Rae, she just started her new job, and her first job; the administrator are dealing with her to not work there and its all confusion at the place where she is working. Please pray she will get around and will never quit. Pray for another way around to keep her job. Let God be her boss.

Lord, I pray for Rae who is trying to fit at her work place. I pray that you give her wisdom to know how to handle the aspects of her job, to enable her to do what is expected of her. I pray that the administration would work out their own difficulties and make it a good work place. Guide Rae on a clear path that she is exactly where you would have her be and may her job also be her place of ministry. In Jesus name, amen.

Father, only you know how many lives have been ruined by alcohol. I pray for this family that needs you and not the 'bottle' that cannot fill their empty hearts. Please pray for me. I feel like I'm falling apart. I can't manage taking care of my toddler and newborn. I feel like I created terrible behaviour in my toddler and she doesn't listen at all. I feel so guilty as I am angry. I even spanked her twice. God forgive me.

Julie said...

oh Father, I bring this desperate mother to you -- I do not condemn her and I know neither do you. It is never easy being a parent. No matter how much we love our children, they quickly declare that they are their own persons and will try to 'rule' their world. I pray that you send someone to come alongside this young mother and help her with both practical and emotional help as well as some seasoned words of wisdom. I pray that you give her insight into how to deal with her toddler, how to encourage the behavior she wants, how to guide her daughter so she can grow and develope to be a mature child that brings joy to her parents hearts. Comfort this mother with your love and peace and may she not feel she has 'failed' if she seeks advice or help from others. She is not alone .. her feelings are so common to mothers everywhere. Wrap your arms around her - you have already enabled her to be the BEST mother her daughter could ever have. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.

We got the blood test results today. They show that she has a good allergy to peanuts. The doctor says to continue to avoid. This is not the result we wanted. I am sad, scared, disappointed, guilty, angry, and defeated.

Julie said...

Oh Father, we are so disappointed when we do not receive the answer we want to our prayers...but, Lord, teach us to know that the only reason you do not give us what we want is because you have a better plan ..or a better time. I pray for this daughter who now knows she has a peanut allergy. I pray that as this family learns the new 'normal' for avoiding peanuts that they will also experience a new awareness of your ever present love and careful watching over them. I pray that you protect this dear girl from accidentally ingesting peanuts or cross contamination. Help them to not feel anxious or fearful but will trust that you work all things - even this - into good for those who love you. Bless this family, Father, and provide for them all that they have need of .. Bring encouragement and support to them - you showing them that they are not alone. Thank you for you ever present help, and for your love toward us ... in Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Dear Father, as a grandmother of a child that has nut allergies, I know just a tiny bit of the fear that parents face as they teach their child how to navigate this path. I pray you will protect this child and help her learn how to ask questions at the right time. I pray that she will eventually grow out of this allergy and for peace for her mom as she cares for her child. These kind of things help us understand that many go through all kinds of difficulties and help us to care for each other. Help her not to feel defeated and to know that she is not alone. Show her Your care even and more so through this experience. Amen

Pray for encouragement for my husband, Lawrence, he lost one of her biological sister of alcoholism. She was very young, and died from it. Please pray for my husband, he was once an alcoholic, but changed his life around and got saved and he is still sober. Please keep praying for him. I lost my own mother three weeks ago, and I need an uplifting also. Pray for the whole family of his and mine.

Julie said...

Lord, I pray for Andrew, who like all children struggle to be and do what is expected of them. I pray that you give him a compliant heart and you would even at a very young age reveal yourself to him that he would give his heart to you. I pray for the parents, that they would have patience and wisdom in discipline and that they would guide rather than threaten, react with calm rather than anger. Bring people into their life that can come alongside to help where they feel unable to cope. Fill their home with your love, O Father... in Jesus' name, amen.

Julie said...

Lord, I pray that you encourage Lawrence to hold onto you .. that he would continue to place his trust in your strength knowing that you will carry him and keep him - both in his walk with you and staying away from alcohol. Comfort him in the loss of his sister who died so tragically before her time. Comfort the whole family and may they all press into you , knowing you are the only answer. In Jesus' name, amen.

Julie said...

Lord, I bring David before you, who in his grief has turned to alcohol for comfort. I pray, Lord that you would reveal to him that the only sure comfort is in you. Comfort him in his grief, show him that he is not alone. May people reach out to him - even from unexpected places. May he see your love extended to him through others. Comfort this entire family, that so loved their mother and so deeply miss her presence in their lives. Help them to look to you to fill that emptiness in their hearts, may they allow your love to cover their pain, and may they draw closer to each other as they share the dearly held memories of their mom. Work through this grief with them and bring them to good places. In Jesus' name, I ask .. amen.

Julie said...

Lord, you know how anxiety can consume us when our health is threatened. Yet, we know you are our Sustainer and our Healer. I pray for Pamela as she awaits test results and for her husband Steve who is dealing with lymphoma. I pray that you will grant both of them a strengthening in their bodies and healing where it is broken. Fill their hearts and minds with your peace and may they know that you are walking beside them in this valley and will guide them through. Supply all they have need of .. and grant that all these things will work out for good, to give them cause for thankful rejoicing. Bless them, draw them close to you and close to each other - and bring loving arms of support around them. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Lord, I pray for Melissa and ask that you give her peace about not getting the job she interviewed for and may she know you said 'no' only because you have something better for her. You are the giver of good things and we trust your promises to provide for all our needs and give us the desires of our heart. Bless Melissa and make her a blessing... in Jesus' name, amen.

One week ago today my beautiful 78 year old mother was diagnosed with the "c" word in her colon. We do not speak its name. My mother is a Christian woman, and we are believing Jesus for the miracle of healing! Today we are expecting a call from the doctor with results on her CT scan to see if it is contained. THAT IS OUR PRAYER!! Please agree with our family in prayer that by His stripes SHE IS HEALED!!! We are concerned, but not defeated as we KNOW THAT JESUS IS LORD OVER ALL. We are trying hard to keep our eyes on Him. Bless you for your prayers! I trust Him with everything. He NEVER FAILS!!!

Oh Lord and Healer of our soul and body, I agree with this family standing before your throne asking for a miracle for their beloved mother. I pray with them that the CT scan will show the results they desire that will ensure their mother's earthly life will be extended by your grace. Thank you, Lord, that we do not have to face the terrors of this life alone but we have the assurance that you walk beside us and have all the answers we need in your hand. Fill this family with your peace, may they know your love and may they rejoice in their faith and trust in you, who will never fail them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Please pray for my marriage. That we better communicate and make joint decisions. It is my in laws anniversary this weekend. I am hesitant to take our newborn on a minimum 4.5 hour trip plus nursing stops. I feel like she is compromised to be in a large group as she will be passed around and hasn't had her shots. I feel like we'll get a guilt trip for not going. As it's made mention we've missed a lot of things. I pray for insight to make the right decision. Lord help us to make the right decisions for our family.

Dear Father, You have given us the gift of family . . . the family we raise as well as the family we come from ... safe places to belong and grow in. I ask for wisdom for this couple as they navigate the newness of having a baby. Help them to make their decisions together, to listen to each other and pray together. So often, I have been reminded of the verse to cast all our cares upon You, because You care for us. Thank you that this promise is for us today and that You know the things this mom is anxious about. Grant the extended family patience and understanding while this couple seeks to make the best decision. Help them to experience the power of prayer and Your peace in every small and big thing. Amen.

Please pay for my extended family. Oh Father, as Lisa said, you are trust worthy, even when we do not understand. And we know that your ways are higher than our ways, yet you also understand that grief is real and painful. Comfort this extended family as only you can, and may they see the 'good' that only you can bring out of tragedy. Lord, to lose a whole family is hard to bear - but to think of a while family - together- stepping over this earthly threshold into heaven's glory has to be beyond earthly joy - and I pray that this thought will soothe hurting hearts. Enfold each family member in your peace ... be their Source for all they need ... in Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Dear Father, you who hold your children in your hand, and gather their tears in your bottle, I pray that you comfort this family who are so deep in grief over the loss of their dear mother. May their memories of her bring comfort and not pain, and in their loneliness may they embrace each other. May they know you have not left them alone, but you are ever present with them, and heaven is but one step away. Their mother is with you and is waiting in expectancy for her family to join her. Pour your love in and upon these siblings and may they once more experience the joy that you desire for them, because the pain of this life will one day pass away and the joy remain! Bless this family with the quietness of your peace and bring compassionate people alongside that can walk with them through their sorrow. In Jesus' comforting name I ask, amen.

A business insurance claim has just been denied, which leaves us the choice of settling privately with the other party or going to court. Please pray for amicable resolution out of court, and that we will have the resources to pay them what is fair. We have suggested a settlement, and are waiting to hear if they will accept or not.

Julie said...

Lord, I thank you for these believers who are trying to follow your way... "as much as lies in them to live at peace". Father, I pray that you would cause this claim to be settled in a way that will bring glory to you, and be acceptable to both parties. Move in the hearts of those who have brought this claim forward that they will not be led by greed or vindictive attitudes. May both parties be willing to work with each other for what is 'right and just'. Only you can work this out for a win/win for both sides and if that takes a miracle, I pray that it would be granted. Bless the settlement that has been offered and I pray that it be accepted and that this case does not have to be fought in court. Give your children assurance of your Hand in this matter and envelope them in your peace. In Jesus' name I stand with them in prayer. amen.

Hi, can you please pray for my family's finances? We have had big expenses back to back and I'm feeling like we're at a breaking point...we supposedly make a good income, but we never get ahead, and everything is going up. Daycare for our two kids costs more than our mortgage, we're deep in debt, and I just caused damage to a stranger's car avoiding a cyclist yesterday. I'm relieved the cyclist is okay, but devastated that our insurance might go up in addition to everything else. I feel like I don't know how we're going to get through all of this. You've prayed for me before, and it's been so appreciated. Thank you again.

Julie said...

Dear Lord, I bring this family before you that is acknowledging their need in learning how to manage their finances. You know how stressful money-related issues are and how easily they can disturb a family’s peace and sense of well-being. Thank you for protecting this wife in the accident - that there were no injuries. I ask that you work out the details of the accident insurance claims so they will not add to this families burdens.
I pray that you give this couple wisdom in how to get out of a debt-situation to where they can comfortably live within their means. I pray that you bring the right advice-givers into their life, someone who can guide them through the steps they need to take. As they look to you for advice and even miraculous intervention I pray that you help resolve their problems in ways they could not foresee. Bless them even as they are making necessary choices and decisions and let it be an easier process than they fear. Show them the light that you can bring into any situation, no matter how dark it seems. May they not be discouraged but infuse them with hope that you have the way and the answers out of their financial problems. May this family be an example that speak to your faithfulness and your grace … and may all the glory go to you. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Hi, my husband can no longer work due to depression. We have been married for 20 years and have two children Maeve (9) and Finn (12). I have had to go into the workforce full time after being at home raising our children and embracing homemaking. I am sad. I miss my home and being there for my children. Please pray for my husband for his depression to be healed. Please pray for me to have contentment and not resentment for being taken away from all that I loved doing. Gillian

Julie said...

Heavenly Father, my heart goes out to Gillian and I pray for her and the needs of her family. I pray for her husband that his depression will lift and he can find joy and strength again to fill the role of provider for his family. Heal him, O Lord! Thank you for giving Gillian the job to provide for their financial needs at this time, but You understand the longing of her heart to be the keeper of the home - to be there with and for her children. I pray that even as she now fills a role she doesn't want, may she focus not on what she has lost but what she has. Fill her heart with thanksgiving for who you are and for what you are working out. Restore, O Lord, according to Joel 2:25,26 - and grant that promise to be personally true for Gillian and one she hangs onto. Bless this family with your love and your daily provision, in Jesus' name, amen.

I feel like I am damaging my beautiful daughter. I worry this will have long term negative effects on her. It's not happening daily. Twice in her life I've spanked her and truly feel sick about it. I need God.

Dear Father, I stand with this overwhelmed mother with two small children. All mothers understand how stressful these years can sometimes be, and we sometimes lose sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. I pray for this dear one that you give her the patience that she needs, the wisdom and the strength to be what her children and husband need her to be. Grant that her husband would be understanding and give his wife the emotional support that she longs for. Bring family members/friends alongside to lend a shoulder and ease her burden. Grant this mother the discernment to know what is important and what can be left undone and teach her to know the difference. May guilt and condemnation not steal her well-being and confidence that she can live each day filled with your goodness as she leans into your strength. May she rest in the knowledge that your faithfulness is new every morning and each day comes already supplied with your grace and provision. May she start her day with thanksgiving in her heart for what you have entrusted her with and may joy fill her heart. Bless this little family, O Lord with all that you desire for them ! In Jesus' name I ask, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up this young mom to You. I pray for her because I too have lost my temper with my kids and felt so bad afterward. I cannot say how often I prayed for patience when they were young. The good thing is that we can ask forgiveness and even young children are able to understand and forgive. I pray that You will give this mom wisdom, patience and a feeling of the high calling of raising children ... one that we need your help for every day. Help this mom to feel supported from her husband and even from a doctor if there is a medical condition. Bring other moms into her life that she can share with and learn from. Let her get the breaks she needs, rest and guidance by Your hand. Bless this family and this home to be a place where your peace if felt. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Lord Jesus, I add my prayers to those of Anneliese and Julie. I too, used to lose my temper frequently with my children and spankings were not always the last resort, if you know what I mean.
I pray that you would give this mom perspective, that this is something she'll have forgotten in a short time. I pray that she will listen to her children's hearts, not just respond to their actions and that she will find humour and joy in her relationship with her kids. I ask too that she will not expect too much from her husband but will realize that even though it may not feel like it, he supports her in what she is doing in raising their children. Give her peace and a sense of resting in You. Praying in Jesus Name who understands and gives strength and peace. Amen

I am asking for prayers for my nephew, Jeremiah, whom got hurt (stab) real bad by his father this evening. He is hospitalized, getting stitched up, and in pain. Please pray for this whole family is out of control. His mother (my sister) is trying hard to raised the little ones and a strong Christian. Please keep her in your prayers too.

Oh Lord, I pray for this broken family ... only you can bring restoration and healing. I pray for Jeremiah, I pray that his physical wounds will heal without scars ...but more important that his emotional/mental/spiritual wounds will heal without scars. I pray that bitterness and unforgiveness or fear will not root in his soul. O Lord, as only you can put this boy in your hand and put him in a good place - may he find peace and fulfillment in you and walk in the strength of your love for him. I pray for his mother whose heart is breaking - Oh fill her with your strength and wisdom as she tries to keep her family together and be what they need. May she feel your protective presence around her. I lift this whole family to you, including the father. Only you know the answers, only you understand what each member of this family needs and may you provide that in your mercy and goodness. In Jesus' name, amen

Lord, I pray for this one who is suffering numb hands as a result of surgery. I ask that you restore the sensitivity and feeling to her hands that she would be able to use them in the way that you created them to be. Father, I pray for Melissa who is suffering pain severe enough to be in ER. Thank you that her blood work is normal, but you know how her life is impacted by this debilitating re-occurring condition. I pray that her medical team will be able to give her some relief and long term help. Best of all, Lord, we look to you for healing and a restored sense of well-being that will enable Melissa to enjoy life and fulfill her duties ... at work and in her home. You are our strength, you are our peace, you are our healer and for that we are deeply grateful, in Jesus' name, amen.

Would you please pray for my sister, Alecia and her husband to get pregnant? They have suffered a miscarriage a little while ago, and are so excited and hopeful to have a baby. They are going to be fabulous parents when the Lord blesses them. Please Lord, bless them with a baby that they will raise to follow you.

Julie said...

Dear Lord, I pray for this dear young couple so eager to embrace the joys of parenthood. Comfort them as they grieve a miscarriage, and may they know their little one is well loved and they will be one day reunited. Yet, you have put the desire in our hearts to hold, and raise, the little ones you place in our care. I ask that you open Alecia's womb that she may conceive and give birth to a beautiful child to fill the hearts and lives of her and her husband. Bless them and the family you will grant them and may they have a godly home filled with the joy and love and peace that only you can give. May they model an example for their children that will encourage them to love and honor you. You are the giver of good gifts and I know you have "good plans and purposes' for Alecia and her husband! We give you all the praise and thanksgiving, for you are good and you are faithful! in Jesus' name, amen.

I need prayers for a PEACE in my marriage.

Julie said...

Oh Lord, another marriage being threatened and I know the grief/sorrow in my heart is only the shadow of the sorrow in your own heart. I pray that you bring into this marriage your peace that passes understanding .. I pray that the love they once had for each other will be rekindled, that your love for them would so fill them that it would overflow one to another. Bring alongside the encouragement they need, hold your hand against anything that is the work of the enemy to destroy. Cause to rise up within them a stubbornness to fight to keep what you have given them in each other. You know, O Lord, their hearts, their thoughts, every detail of their lives and I intercede on their behalf that their marriage would be restored and be fruitful in joy and peace and deep contentment - and may they make you their anchor. In Jesus' name I pray, amen

Father of the fatherless ... we come again to your throne of grace to intercede for Lena and her dear little grandchildren. I pray that you provide for Lena and the children in ways that are beyond what she could think or imagine. According to your promises we trust in you, Lord ! and give you all the thanksgiving and all the praise. In Jesus' bountiful name, amen
